This was a multi pack so that was helpful since the sheets are very thin. I re-covered all my furniture, tv and stereo system multi times during a construction project. There was so much dust. Previously the contractor used his tarp-which was thicker. Those were what was definitely needed during the initial phases of the project. I wanted to replace those dusty ones for the completion of the minor items on the punch list and these tarps were fine for that. While they are thinner they worked fine and were just right for this purpose. I would though not recommend for dirtier/ dustier parts of any project. I would also recommend these tarps for when you go on vacation and want to cover electronics in case of any leaks. We had come home from vacation once and had electronics ruined from a leak-since then we cover our stuff and this product is fine for that ... show more

You never have too many drop cloths. I'm not one to remove all the furniture to paint. I also use them for doorways when I'm sanding or using table saw to contain the dust.

I’m not looking forward to having the house painted. However, I am glad to have this drop cloth to protect my patio furniture & plants from paint splatter. Nice size & thickness. I believe it may even be reusable.

    • 50 Microns thick is THINNER than cheap plastic garbage bags. Do not expect it to last--rips easily

__I missed that this was only 50 microns thick: that's 0.02 inches (2/100ths of an inch). This information was on the photo of the cover of this product, so it IS there, if you enlarge the image. I guess I can't deduct for it being that thin, since the information was there. HOWEVER, they clearly intend it to be used as a paint cloth, as if such a thin material could withstand shoe traffic from work shoes without small tears! Typical work shoes are going to tear this, leading to tracked paint on your floor surfaces in my opinion. __They also advertise it as a furniture cover. That is a potential good use of this, though it was not what I was looking for, nor was it what I think most folks think of when it is advertised as a paint tarp. _Know what you are buying! __I hope this review has helped you. ... show more

This is a very large sheet, for a relatively low price. It has many uses, primarily as a paint drop cloth, but it can be also used for a covering furniture or appliances, while painting or sanding. It is quite thin, so it might not stay put very easily, but on the other hand, it is very easy to work with, and easily adapts to anything you drape it over. Because if it’s low price, this could easily be a one use item. However, I don’t see why you couldn’t fold this back up and reuse it over and over again, as long as you don’t get holes in it.
