The packaging was excellent, and assembling the bike was straightforward, I just needed to attach the handlebars and pedals, and I was ready to go. So far, I've ridden around 15 miles, mostly on flat terrain. The motor has solid power, and the pedal assist really helps. For steeper hills, you'll definitely want to give it a bit more pedaling, but overall the ride is smooth and enjoyable. I weigh 180 pounds, and it handles hills fairly well. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase! The bike arrived well packaged, and it was super easy to set up—just needed to attach the pedals, and it was ready to ride. The seat can be adjusted to a very low position, making it perfect for my height of 59 inches. The ride is smooth, and the 5 levels of pedal assist give it great power when needed. The bike looks clean and stylish, exceeding all my expectations. Truly an amazing value! I was so impressed that I ended up purchasing another premium model from them.     • Great entry level bike
The bike arrived packaged very well with only slight marring of a few spots. Certainly nothing that was a deal breaker. Other than installing the pedals and handlebar, the only other thing was to put air in the rear tire and charge the battery. There were no loose screws or bolts. The bike pedals very easily without any power. We rode it all over the yard while waiting for the battery to charge. It seems very solid, and the suspension did surprisingly well. The mechanical brakes also work well. The seat is the size of a typical commuter seat and has several adjustments. But as with all OEM seats, it needs more padding, at least for us older folks. I attempted to follow the user guide to lower the max speed to match local trail speeds. That became a bit of a challenge. You must contact support for the password to access these settings. I found I could reduce maximum speed to a minimum of 16mph, but the system does not provide a way to set speeds for individual PAS levels, usually a percentage of max speed. They are a bit fast as they come which could pose some risk to certain individuals. It can be a jerky ride as the PAS kicks in and out at lower speeds. PAS 3 runs at 15mph so they are definitely not configured as percentages. The max speed setting does not affect the throttle. You will get max speed if you use the throttle at any PAS level. The bike climbed some very steep and long hills here using PAS4 and appropriate gearing. Its 500w motor provided a pleasant surprise. One caution is the bike does not have a functioning tail/brake light. A helmet light or seat light is recommended for riding near dark. The Veefa is nice, little low-end bike with very basic features. The 2yr warranty that is touted in the ads only applies to the bike frame. Still, it provides enjoyable time on the trails if you can adapt to some of its quirks. ... show more

We just got our Veefa F1 Electric bike and I wanted to give a quick first impression of it. It seems to be built very well and was very easy to assemble. After we charged it we gave it a try out and really liked it. It is very stable and my wife loves it. We already own a Go City electric bicycle and this one seems to be built a more solid. My wife is only 5 ft tall and she fits on it perfectly. We originally bought the Go City for her but there is a handle on the lower part of the bike which makes it hard for her to get on and off. This Veefa doesn't have the handle so she doesn't have that problem. The fenders on the Veefa are made of metal and the Go city are plastic. I was very hesitant about buying her an adult E-bike but very happy I took the chance because it is very easy for her to ride and she will be able to grow into it and use it as she gets older.
