The media could not be loaded. I had bought a cheap car phone mount in the past, and unfortunately the plastic hooks broke after just two weeks of use. I was really disappointed.Presumably because of the cheap clips - doesn’t have the best strength. After being disappointed by other phone holder,the VANMASS car vent phone mount stands out - it is a quality part and does exactly as it is supposed to do. This mount uses metal hooks that become very stable and secure once tightened. The actual product matches the description perfectly - it can perfectly hold my phone in place, and the quick-grip and release function works great. It's incredibly durable and well-made. Another great feature is the ball joint design, which allows me to easily adjust the angle to suit my view, transitioning smoothly from vertical to horizontal orientations. This is very convenient for using my phone while driving, without obstructing my vision. Most importantly, the mount has soft silicone pads on the clamps, which increases the friction and keeps the phone firmly in place. I've never had any issues with the phone falling out or the entire mount detaching. Overall, superior stability, sleek and modern design, and flexible adjustability make it a far more reliable and user-friendly option. It does work. Pros: It is easy to get the phone in and out one handed, which is super cool. It holds it secure, and locks into the vent very well. Cons: It sticks out a little far, so the phone vibrates at highway speeds and can feel a little loose when you are touching it to enter information. It does work with an F-150 with a column shifter, but just barely. There is 1/8" or clearance, and you will need to get used to pulling the shifter down by grabbing it from below. Not bad, but if they could shrink the distance from phone to vent it would be helpful. I modified it with a sticky mount ball up and to the right of the vent, and used the main clip part to mount to that piece, and that works great. Update: The company sent me a different mounting system, which works much better with my F150. ... show more
