For the price, it is worth it. It looks pretty good once you install it, which BTW, it is very easy to do. The only thing I don't care about is the sound. It sounds very artificial, and it can easily become annoying. It only took 3 days to be delivered. It arrived in great condition.

The media could not be loaded. This fireplace setup is as simple as it comes. You take it out of the box and plug it in. It is ready to go. It has some nice features like the ability to adjust the brightness of the flame, you can change the color of the lighting, and it even has sound. It also produces different levels of heat. The remote control is a nice feature. The only thing I would change is making the fire look a little more realistic. We recently had water damage to our chimney (found out the prior owners of our new home didn’t weatherize it in any way so it physically rotted) and we had to get rid of it and our wood fireplace altogether. When shopping around, we really didn’t want to spend $20k plus for a new gas or wood fireplace and chimney, and most electrical inserts were at least $1,000. I found this insert that fit the dimensions exact, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out for the price! Only con is that the “fire sound” is super cheesy and I won’t be using it, but all in all, this insert is such a bang for your buck. ... show more

The fireplace is very nice looking and feels well built. The colors it emits are nice and add a great atmosphere to the living room. It is capable of providing a decent amount of heat to a small living room area but I would say nothing larger than a 10ftx10ft area. Installation was a breeze since we built our fireplace around its measurements, not sure how easy it would be in an existing opening. As some other reviewers have already pointed out, the sound is an absolute joke, this is the only reason I took off 1 star, we keep the sound off as the speaker sounds like it came on a happy meal toy from the 80s. ... show more
