I wear a ladies size 9 and have custom prescription orthotics for plantar fasciitis but they are expensive and insurance does not cover for another one so I decided to try these. Firstly, they are exactly the same size (7-9.5) as my custom ones, length and width, so perfect. Second, the arch is slightly higher which is fine since this material is not as firm as the custom ones and I don't expect it to last as long as my custom one. Third, these have a little extra cushion so very comfortable for now. I'm not sure how long it will last but for now they feel good. this product can only be used on a tennis shoe or maybe in a work boots, i tried them with my booties that i wear to work with a heel ,and they were to tight, if i buy a size up in my shoes then there may be room for the inserts. they did look like the picture and they seemed well made. that was my only problem is the inserts make my shoes fit tighter and its uncomfortable. i have not tired them with my tennis shoes to see if the pain goes away. i bought mainly to wear with my work shoes. ... show more

I ordered these ortho inserts due to plantar fasciitis and a couple of bone spurs. Ladies, stop wearing totally flat shoes! You need support. I think these will be good when I get used to them. I did have to trip the toes of the inserts in order to get them in my shoes. Easy. They have a lot more support than I am used to.
