Ive had two pairs of Puma shoes that, though they were comfortable, the 'SoftFoam' insoles deteriorated in under a month. These Dr. Scholls Heavy Duty insoles were easy to cut to size and are not only incredible comfortable for all-day use, they also do not move around in the shoe at all. The heal-portion has a harder plastic type base/support to it, preventing the sole from moving forwards and backwards when sliding your foot in and out. After several months of use, they still do not have any wear in the fabric and feel just as comfortable as they day i installed them. While these are not the thickest insoles, for the price they work very well and I'm very pleased with them, I would count on replacing them approx. every four months if you're walking quite a bit, but again, for the price, they're certainly worth it. On the downside, they 'pop' when you walk. Super annoying, you sound like a cartoon heading down Main St. Disneyland. NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: The foam insert used on the heal has an extremely tacky formula. After being worn a very short while, this pad begins to stick to the to the interior sole of the shoe, at least shoes with a leather insole. This should be changed to perhaps a different yet still soft, reflexive formula, perhaps a higher quality gel. Wearing these insoles is literally embarrassing, being almost comical. 'Pop', 'Pop', 'Pop', lets go for a walk, sounding like a Warner Brother's cartoon character from the 40's or worse, some woke Disney creation. I might return these for a higher quality product, I'll give them a few more tries to see if they quiet down. ... show more

I like these. My biggest regret is that I did not add these to my shoes a few years ago. I have a pair of Timberland 3-eye boat shoes that are probably 6 or 7 years old. I wore them every day. About a year ago they began hurting my feet. They're worn out. I finally bought a new pair a few weeks ago, but I also bought these Dr. Scholl's insoles for my old pair of shoes. The new insoles help a lot, and will let me get a bit more use out of my old shoes. But the new insoles can't work miracles... I should have started using these insoles a few years ago, before my old shoes got really bad. Maybe that would have saved me some pain and other problems. Purchased the large for a size 11 shoe. Pictured are my sketcher low cut shoes (boots, size 11) with the new supports installed. I have had several pairs of these shoes over the years and I wear holes in supports, these have made the inside like new again. I heavily use these for yardwork, auto work etc. so the get abused. Pulled out the old glued in insole (should have taken a picture as they had holes worn in them), cut these new ones to size and slid them in. I was concerned that they would move around as they are not glued in like the originals but they fit great and do not move. Recommended. ... show more
