    • Shockingly powerful!
This saved my summer! I bought this AC unit because our central air had gone out, leaving our apartment dangerously hot. The landlord completely ignored us all early summer, and the July heatwave was the final straw. It says 700sqft, but managed to make over 900ft feel nice and cozy. Our livingroom dropped 4 degrees in an hour, and was comfortable after 3 hrs. After a day, the entire 3br apartment was cool. Some things to note: The window panel is hard to finagle at first. Attaching it to the hose seems easy, until it's time to seal it in the window. It doesn't lock in, it just kind of barely holds it there. So when you close the window, the hose will pop out a little. Make sure you have the panel and hose sealed tight or it'll just blow hot air back into the house. If you find it isn't cooling or the temperature is suddenly rising, make sure you check on that seal. The easiest way is to hold your hand in front of the panel and move along the length to see if you feel any warm air. If you do, the panel needs to be readjusted. It moves a lot of air really fast. It is a little loud, because it's a big unit. I have to have it on sleep mode when I sleep near it, or it'll wake me up as it turns off and on. However, you can barely hear it from a room away. The sound is just the sound of fast moving air though. It doesn't vibrate or go berrrrrrrrrrrrrr like some I've used before, which is nice. It's really heavy in the box, but the actual unit has handles and wheels, making it super easy to move once unpacked. It's not going to reach through closed doors. These seems like common sense, but I definitely made the mistake of closing my bedroom door for hours (when the unit was in the living room) and the temperature jumped up FAST. It'll keep the ambient temp low, so it didn't get as hot as it would've, but make sure you keep airflow going to any place you want cool. The panel is designed for windows that are flush. If the window closes below the windowsill, you'll need something underneath to lift it up a bit. Otherwise the hose will pop out. We ended up cutting a 2×4 to put underneath it to create a flush surface. It worked like a charm! Tldr: Unit is amazingly powerful, can cool a 3bdroom apartment in 24hrs, a little loud, and is tricky to install. It's not hard, but you really have to pay attention to make sure hot air isn't coming back into the house. The panel and hose connection could definitely be more secure. Cons included, this unit still outperforms my expectations. It's 101°f outside, but 68° in here!!! ... show more

Bought this for my office. It works well, however it's a bit loud. Granted, I have it near my desk. If you don't need to have it too close to you, it would be fine.

We are still getting to know this machine, but we’ve had it for like two weeks and it happen to come in in the hottest day of the year. The hardest part was getting the venting out the window. We’re going to go to Home Depot and buy a longer drainage hose because I hate having a bucket in the middle of the room. So it cools off my whole downstairs. I don’t live in a very big home, but we leave the air conditioner on upstairs in the air compressor conditioner on down here and the whole house feels nice and cool was well worth the money it runs good it’s quiet and now after the initial running of this, the water has tapered off there’s hardly any water now and I love it because it’s portable.     • Difficult Warranty Support - Poor Performing Product
I highly recommend you go to another company for portable A/C units. I bought one of these units last year that arrived defective. As that was within the 30 days Amazon return, that replacement went okay. The replacement unit worked for summer and prior to storing it for the winter, the unit was fully drained. This summer the unit was reconnected and found that it no longer would provide any cooling. Repeated messages through Amazon messaging and e-mails to the company have failed to get any response for warranty service or replacement. Do not give your money to this manufacture as their products and support are unreliable. *EDIT* After the review above a company representative reached out and facilitated a warranty replacement unit. Wow. We got this because our room was utilizing a 10,000 BTU unit and it just wasn’t working. Our room is quite large and with vaulted ceilings. I am having a c-section 8/9 and we are expected to have a heat wave 8/12-15 of 100 degree temps! So had to figure something fast. This came so fast. Set up was a BREEZE and if we have the unit at 70 it cools our entire room to 71-72 on a 90 degree day. I am SO stoked on this and so happy with this purchase. The window insert is our only complaint. We were lucky enough to have an extra piece that fit from another AC. But WORTH IT. ... show more

    • DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT
I purchased this unit in July of 2023, used it until the end of August (end of summer) - it worked fine. It was inactive until today, and now, the AC doesn't blow cold air. The compressor turned on and blew cold air for 30 seconds, then shut off and now won't come back on. For how expensive this product is, it feels like a scam that it only worked for one summer. I would give 0 stars if I could because it's frustrating how it doesn't work anymore after such little use. Seller, please reach out to me, there's no way for me to reach out to you to fix this. I'll update the review if the seller offers to fix it or replace it - otherwise, look for a different brand. ... show more

Works great great product, don’t expect to cool 700 sq feet to an optimal temp if it’s above 85 out I can usually keep my house under 80 with it on a very hot day with just this unit alone (double wide). If it’s not extremely hot this thing will freeze a huge room out, I bought the 14k BTU hoping it would be enough to cool my whole place while it does a great job you definitely need more than one to fully cool a double wide just a heads up.
