    • Machine great, software buggy
The device came packaged very well and was a breeze to set up. The software on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired, it’s constantly locking up and is not very intuitive. They could have at least included a manual for the software so you have a reference. You can find it online as well as other complaints about the software. The software is EzCad2 nicknamed EzCrash by most users. It’s not very reassuring that it crashes often and you wonder if it will with an expensive part being etched, and to my knowledge their is no other software available. ... show more

    • Solid fiber laser at a great price
A lot of these fiber lasers are made by the same company so I shopped around a bit looking for the best deal. I also wanted a JPT with a wider frequency range, this one fit the bill. It also came with a D80 rotary axis included in the price, other companies wanted an additional $350-400 for the rotary. Mine was shipped from California and arrived quickly. The hardest part about setting it up was getting it out of the wood crate. It was well packaged and no damage when opened. Instructions were pretty simple to follow for setup. Comes with EZ Cad lite but it also works with Lightburn. You'll have to purchase Lightburn for Fiber (Galvo) lasers. I had some questions so I emailed the seller, they responded very quickly. I also wanted a taller gantry, they gave me a price, I paid and they shipped quickly. The gantry did come direct from China but they used UPS and it was received 4 days after they shipped. Over all, the laser has been working amazingly well and support answered my questions quickly. ... show more

I received the Laser machine and had it all set up with all the connections in less than 5 minutes. I had some issues downloading Ezcad2, so I emailed support here on Amazon, and within the hour someone had logged in to my computer and remotely got me running. We have been using our laser for almost 2 months and are very pleased. All aspects from crating to included accessories were impressive. We were up and running within an hour from uncrating. We were able to achieve a very sharp engraving of text less than .032". Be prepared, despite an extensive knowledge of AI & Corel, the learning curve to use ExCad (also included) is very steep. It is full featured but don't expect to be proficient for a while. Also, you will want to buy an exhaust fan as the fumes from certain metals is offensive. ... show more

Make sure you have someone to help you carry it inside because it weights 100+ lbs and the Fedex didn't want to touch it saying he didn't want to get cut or hurt. It was very well packaged in a wooden crate and was flawless upon unboxing. Set it up fast and was up and engraving within an hour. Customer support is fast and effective. On day one i learned to do text and pictures. After owning it for some months now im discovering customer service is slow and replacement parts like the proprietary usb cable is hard if not impossible to find. ... show more
