I know it’s doesn’t work as well for light skin and bright blonde, fine hair but… I have darker hair in the areas that I’m using the device. I haven’t been using it consistently unfortunately so my results are not as good if i used it 3x a week. I see it still working based off of hair regrowth rate and I plucked a few hairs to see what the root looked like (since lasers target the root) and I can see a difference in root size/shape compared to parts that have not been used by the laser. I see a decrease in how many and how severe the ingrown hairs I get are. With having fine blonde hair I usually don’t notice I have an ingrown hair until it’s a lump under the skin and painful. This has slightly reduced that. I’m really enjoying the slower regrowth! It’s been pain free using the device, even on the fast setting. It does feel like a slight sunburn 15-20 minutes after treatment so definitely use the Aloe Vera gel! ... show more

This device comes with great instructions and a lot of warnings that made me nervous to try it out. I did and have seen great results of unwanted hair not returning for a long period of time. The ice cooling feature is nice and it's not too cold. I really was impressed with the packaging and all of the thoughtful little touches too. So sweet. I purchased this for my daughter. She's completely satisfied with the results and will continue using it. She had hair removal treatments at a salon and its very expensive and you need to follow up with maintenance visits. This allows her to maintain and monitor her results. I bought this mainly for my chin and neck where I have been getting a lot of hair coming back postpartum. This doesn't hurt at all like Laser does. I haven't used it enough to see results yet but it feels very comfortable on the skin. Love the glasses and the cooling gel it comes with. There are 3 modes on the device so you can choose which one you can use depending on the area you are treating. Because it's corded I am not worried about the battery running out in the middle of the treatment. Would highly recommend this! ... show more

I fully expected to be another idiot who fell for the “this is the best” reviews and waste $400, but I’m pleasantly surprised. I have used it every other day for 2 1/2 weeks now on extremely stubborn hair and I am seeing a dramatically notable difference in hair growth, color, and fullness. As someone who these things always seem to flop on, I am extremely happy with this purchase. I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Also, I was nervous to try this, especially on my face, because of my previous laser treatments. There is absolutely no pain- at least not on normal mode.
