I shaved my chin area as instructed and now my hair is thicker and growing quicker than when I usually pluck, so disappointing and upsetting, doesn’t work, I have more hair than before I started. I feel like this product makes things worse for you and you will eventually have to go to a professional which will cost more because this product doesn’t decrease the hair visibility or growth, it’s being increase by the shaving to ‘clean” the area for a machine that doesn’t work. This product delivers on what it promises. However proper shaving technique is required, as well as consistentcy. From my sessions I realized that there has been a delayed hair growth. However the cleaner the shave the more effective the treatment. PS: Lastly it's perfectly safe, as long as u don't look into the light emitter, as on the intrusctions. Besides that the worst it can do to you is give u a mild burn if not used properly ... show more

The result was not as fast as I would have liked or thought but it could also be by skin and hair type also, just a little more difficult than some. Concerned that I would run out of time to get a return before I could give it a fair and honest trial, I contacted the company and they were quick at responding and addressing my concerns and very, very kind about it. They assured me that I had plenty of time to test it and if I wasn't happy with the results they would take care of me. Now, after six weeks of use I am seeing a little progress, hair has slowed down quite a bit. I think with some people like me with lots of thick and dark hair it takes more treatments for a longer period of time. So, I will keep at it and see what happens, but the company has great customer service and stands behind their product and if the product doesn't work than they will refund it ... show more

I strongly advise against purchasing this product! It was a complete waste of $500. The product simply does not work. It claims to deliver results in six weeks, so I used it every other day for that duration but saw no improvement whatsoever. However, the return window is only four weeks, which seems deliberately designed to prevent dissatisfied customers from getting their money back! ... show more

So yes this does work, it's pretty slow and takes quite a few goes before I noticed anything personally and I couldn't do decent sessions because it bothered my sensitive skin. I didn't notice it hurting though, but I do have a high tolerance so not sure if that's the reason. You have to make sure your prep work before using this and make sure it's done correctly. Main reason for the 3 stars was how long it took to show results, it took using this every other day for almost a month before I actually noticed anything, but it also was slow I bet because I had to do the shorter sessions which is another reason for a lower review as I didn't notice any caution if you have sensitive skin. I'm honestly going to give this as gift later because it was too troublesome and I'd just rather go back to shaving regularly. ... show more
