    • Totally works and is actually painless
I was skeptical that this was painless. It really is. I’m extremely sensitive and way back when the epilady came out there was no way I could tolerate the supposed snapping rubberband. I’ve had a ton of laser and electrolysis which was $1,000’s. It really made a difference but there are still areas on my jaw and chin. Dark hair and fair skin so I can see it way before it emerges. It didn’t seem worth paying $100 for what was finally a manageable problem. But it was bad enough that I was self conscious going to the dentist or traveling. I used the ulike on all the settings. Every other day. Within a week I started seeing a difference. After a month, I don’t feel I need to do it so much. I feel it’s paid for itself already. I also do the upper and bottom of the lip. It doesn’t seem to register the middle of the lip for some reason. I’ve branched out to other areas now and it’s just cold. I’ve experienced pain in professional settings even using Emla. This is amazing. I thought maybe in the ads the girl might’ve used numbing stuff but it absolutely is painless and it works. It’s easy. I will continue to use it as I think I have hormonal issues but my confidence has improved greatly. I wish this had existed 30 years ago. I bought this during prime week and knew I could return it. I’ve never tried the competition but I’m sticking with this one. ... show more

    • This works - at least for my body
As a heads up, I have pretty pale skin and dark brown body hair, so to be fair I am the ideal target for this machine. All I can say is if you fall in that skin tone + hair color category - this works, get it, it’s so worth it! I did my armpits first, two weeks in I was barely having any hair growth already. It’s now been 3-4 months, I do it once every few weeks up to a month, and I grow around 5-10 hairs total per armpit! Working on my Brazilian now, 1 week in doing it every 2-3 days and the results are already very noticeable! I’m planning on continuing every 2-3 days for another week or a bit longer and then just doing it when needed. Again, it works. And also - I have felt no pain. Sometimes a tiny zap feeling but it is so slight (to be fair I only waxed or epilated before, so my pain tolerance is pretty high, but still, I highly recommend it)!! ... show more

    • Quicker than I expected!
I think it’s time I write a review for this product, and right off the bat I can say this is money well spent. I will include some things I would have liked to know before I got the product, but over all I highly recommend! The product instructions recommend doing the treatment every other day or every three days. Just because of my schedule, that wasn’t something I was able to do, but at this point I have done 10 sessions over 7 weeks and already about 80% of my leg hair is gone! You can see a few small areas where the hair is still coming in, and I am doing targeted treatments now. Even the areas that are still growing back are growing much slower. It’s amazing how well it works. Also, other areas on my body are already completely done like my armpits, and my happy trail. It only took a few sessions for these areas to stop growing all together. I will say that it leaves a bit of a 5 o clock shadow, like you can see the dormant follicle just under the skin still. Maybe it isn’t as completely nude looking as waxing, but a win is a win. I will never have to remove these hairs again. It is a process that you have to commit a lot of time to, so if you’re a busy person or don't have a lot of patience, don’t expect you’ll be able to do it every other day. However, even if you take your time over a few months it will definitely work. I also will say the areas where you have more of a tan will take longer, because it’s harder for the laser to differentiate the skin and hair follicle. If you have any visible stubble at all, don’t waste time treating it because the laser won’t be able to target the follicle. It’ll aim towards the surface where it detects your new growth. These are also the times you might feel a sting or zap because the laser is aiming at your skin. Other than that, there is no pain at all. If you stay on top of using this, you will get great results. ... show more

I had the Air 3 and loved it. The only downside was that it took so long to laser all areas I wanted to. I used it consistently for 4-5 weeks, but still had some trouble spots that needed work. I got the Air 10 because it was supposed to be faster and more powerful and I figured I could eventually use it on my husband's back. It's slightly faster, but not by much. I could overlook this if it hadn't stopped working toward the end of my second session. My 30 day return window just passed, so now I'm stuck with a device that doesn't work. Other cons for the Air 10: --The head is really large so makes small/angular areas like around the ankle really tricky --The Air 3 had a really nice high quality storage box. The Air 10 comes with just a dustbag --It's really bulky, if you have small hands it could be a pain to use. --It has the power button and SDR button on the side which you have to be really careful not to push. -----The Air 3 had a button on the side, but it didn't protrude out like these ones did so that was never an issue. My advice is to just stick to the Air 3 and be patient (it does take awhile). ... show more
