    • Bottom of base gets very hot.
My first use I was kinda leery and worried. The heat press emitted a burning smell and smoked a little when first pressing a shirt at 380 degrees. The shirt was fine. After a couple of uses the smell was gone and so was the smoke. Sublimation emits a gaseous smell which is normal. I bought a heat resistant mat to put under the press because the heat from the press is very hot. The top of the base also gets very hot but the base has handles that stay cool. I had to tighten up the wing nuts on the slide out because they were very loose. I also made sure to tighten up all the screws. Now I love my heat press! The media could not be loaded. I have been using the press for 2-3 months and it fills my house with smoke every single time and it scorches and burns nearly everything. Heat distribution is a major issue and I have ruined a ton of inventory trying to adjust temp to keep from burning but can’t get it to stay consistent. I am currently searching for a new press as this one is not performing as expected. Press is also not stable when swinging the top away to line up shirt, nearly fell off the table. ... show more

    • 15x15 Heat Press with automatic timer and slide out drawer
I just received my heat press and so far I'm loving it. It heats up pretty quickly and has an automatic timer that starts as soon as you begin to press your project. The slide out drawer was a big deal for me, so when I came across this heat press I had to have it. The only negative thing i can say about it is that when you first turn it on there is a strong smell of burning plastic. I didn't notice any burning and the smell died down after a while. Tusy makes a great press but I have emailed them multiple times with no reply. Their website says great support but I disagree. If you want a good product and support go elsewhere

10/10 recommend!! I love this heat press. I love that it slides out. Heats evenly, easy to set up. Easy to use. I just got it so I hope it last longer than my last heat press.

the screw that holds the heating plate and the lever keeps coming out while pressing. The plate is also wobbly. Heats well and evenly.

I love TUSY heat presses have bought a total of 3 this one being this one. I love that is a slide away and swing away but the temperature control not good I have to literally calibrated every time.
