Out of the box this thing rips.have friends who are rc guys and they are shocked by how much power it has. Replaced shocks and put proline tires, drives way better, buy it you won't be disappointed.

    • A lot of effort went into the design, and it shows.
------------------------------------------Durability--------------------------------------------- The only thing that has every broken on this is the steering servo after a bad hit, but they are not very expensive and I had a few laying around. The reinforced body is phenomenal and has taken no damage after months of use. (I use it every couple of days for an hour) This thing is damn near indestructible unlike my modded VXL bandit. ----------------------------------------Modifications------------------------------------------- To make it so I generally never had to worry about temps I put in a heatsink/fan on the motor and a fan on the esc. Now I can easily run 3s stock gearing with 0 worries about temps, even on a hot day. NOT with the speed gear though. (more on that later) ----------------------------------------Performance-------------------------------------------- With the stock gear and 3s, the top speed is about 40, which isn't very fast but it is torquey enough to do a back flip when facing a wall :) It is what I normally use because it runs well within temps and shreds everything off road. With a 7200mah battery it lasts for an hour or more. (far past my friends) The speed gear it comes with is a huge jump and will hit the advertised 65+mph with 3s. Good luck doing that for more than 1 minute though, because it gets hot extremely fast, so be very careful. Don't even think about running the speed gear as a standard thing with 3s. I haven't tried it with 2s but one of my friends uses his regularly with 2s and the speed gear and it seems to work well enough. The traction control works really well and is a night and day difference when it is on or off. All in all this thing is one of the newest Traxxas releases, and you can tell. In my opinion, this is one of the most versatile, durable, and fun 1/10 scale vehicles you can get. Worth the money for me at least. Everyone I know loves it and it is a great conversation starter when people see me with it around campus (drive responsibly, I only drive it fast in areas with few to 0 people) ... show more

Awesome product!! My wife both have one. Super fast and durable as long as you don’t hit the curb at 60 mph. Lol battery and charger are separate but the battery life is great. One of the best Traxxas cars in our opinion.

This is a top notch high end 1/10th model RC car. If you’re hard on stuff, the suspension pieces will eventually fail as they are pretty cheap, but the upgraded parts for it are very inexpensive and easy to do. This is an AMAZING first RC car to get for beginners or enthusiasts. Buy it!

The car is very fast. The tires ripped in the first 2 days. I would say to get after market tires. Oh, no battery with the car. Need another 100 dollars for battery and charger. Good guts so far. Nothing has broken
