Got this on sale to put on the bottom panel of my bathroom window. Now that the trees are bare, my neighbors can potentially see into my yard and into my window lol. I didn’t realize it came with a little spray bottle so look out for that. It was relatively easy to measure, cut, and use, as you just need soapy water and it clings to the window easily. Might take a few minutes to get all the bubbles out. But it has stuck well and hasn’t moved since I put it on. It completely obscures the view into my window. Easy to install/ apply and comes with more tools than you actually need. When I first put it up I thought the humidity from a shower would make it ineffective but it really holds and looks good too. If I needed more I would definitely purchase this again but it came with so much i doubt I’ll need to order any again. ... show more

I like this frosted film. It cut very easily, looks good on the windows. I bought it to keep my dog from barking at everything that goes past, as you can see from my one destroyed blind, she’s hard on window treatments. So far so good! My one drawback is it’s hard to peel the backing off after you make your first cut. It took me like 10 minutes and destroying a corner to get it to peel. Other than that, they provide you with all of the necessary tools to apply it. It comes with a box cutter, a squeegee, and a spray bottle. Does exactly what it said it does. DONT USE DISH SOAP. I used a mild soap with minimal suds. Was SO easy to install. The most time consuming part is getting the backing off but that wasn’t hard by any means . You can’t see out and in fact they CANT see in either . I purchased the frosted option. I’m so happy with how it looks . Now my plants can get some sun and I will still have privacy! ( it also came with small spray bottle , utility knife, a tool to smooth any bubbles out and one other plastic thing I didn’t know what to do with . Totally worth the 5-8$. Anyone who says this was hard is not to be trusted . ... show more

    • Thin but pretty!

This is thin film. Not as in faulty - it does what it's supposed to do. But it's thin enough that it folds in on itself, stretches, and wrinkles a lot more easily than other films I have used. With that said, it looks lovely and works as advertised! Just prepare for a mildly frustrating installation lol. EDIT: Yeah, this actually turned into an extremely frustrating situation. I finished the installation in the late evening, and everything looked fine. I woke up, and there are holes in the film and tearing along the sides where the knife they sent was used (carefully, btw, including meticulously aligning the film, applying it and smoothing it down, and trimming the excess flat against the window - it should not have torn). There was no resistance when cutting, likely because the film is incredibly thin and tears/stretches easily. If you feel lucky and don't mind fighting with film that is pretty easily damaged (because, and I cannot stress this enough, I treated this film delicately), give this a go. It *is* really pretty and it does block out the light... where the sides aren't messed up, at least. I have installed quite a few films over the past few years, so I'm not new to this. I would personally recommend a thicker film. If I end up having to remove this cling, I'll be investing in a better one. ... show more
