    I bought this set knowing it wasn’t the most expensive option, but it worked perfectly for my needs. I used it to remove a hopelessly stuck bolt on a flywheel, and it came off effortlessly on the first try. While I can see a little wear on the socket I used (see pic), I’d estimate it could handle another 5-10 bolts before needing a replacement. If I were using these daily for work, I might invest in a pricier set, but for occasional use, this is an excellent value. Totally worth it! ... show more

    Took 1 minute to remove pitted mangled rounded rusted nut that was fused onto an exhaust bolt holding a bracket to the exterior of an engine.

      • Unscrews the bolt if it can be un-screwed.

    Not quite aggressive enough. Only extracted one of three stuck bolts. The other two were down where I had to use an extension and use a breakover handle. The one I extracted twisted off rather than unscrewing.

    I have purchased multiple Topec Extractor sets since February 25, 2021. I have the 5-Piece Heavy Duty Nut Bolt Remover set, 18-Piece Stripped Bolt Extractor Kit, 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set, 13pc 2-in-1 Screw Extractor Set and a second 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set. These have been being used daily in my two shops without fail. The material is of high quality and have never once had a tool fail or break during use. All the sets come in a nice sturdy case that keeps all pieces in order. I have had some of my workers loose or misplace a few pieces from the sets but after reaching out to Topec, they provided a way to get me the replacement pieces which was great.     I bought a truck and it had locking lug nuts on it. As much as I would like to say the previous owner lost the key, I have to say I lost it and couldn't find it before a long road trip. I don't know how many pound feet of torque the last installer put these on with but it had to be in the tons of pounds. Yes, I know that is not realistic but they were significantly over torqued. These are very heavy duty and took the locking lug nuts off with relative ease. I had to hammer them on pretty hard but it was super super easy to remove the locking lug nuts. I would highly recommend them. I am not one who doesn't like to leave negative reviews. I will absolutely leave a negative review if I don't like a product or it is not up to par.
