Description

The FLEXVOLT; 60V MAX Pipe Threader can thread ½ 2 black iron pipe, rigid conduit, and more. It comes with an oil-resistant glass-filled nylon battery to protect it from cutting oils used to complete threads and is housed in a latched and sealed battery box. Equipped with the E-Clutch; System, that senses the motion of the tool and shuts down if necessary in bind-up situations. This kit also includes a patent pending pipe clamp with a depth gauge, for quick set up, and a die arm that can be used to start the threads without direct contact to the spinning die head. This tool is Tool Connect & trade; Tag-Ready & trade; (Tool Connect Tag sold separately). The DCE700 Pipe Threader is also compatible with RIDGID; 12R style die heads.

    • Tapered or straight thread?
I’m a electrician and use straight threads. If I want to thread gas pipe I don’t know think I can change it to tapered. I can’t find any information on if or how I can make it tapered.

    • Amazing Tool
This Deadly toll is an amazing piece of art. normally a pipe footer has to bring sling an extension cord for a handheld threader…not anymore! this thing has unbelievable torque, ergonomic designs, powerful batteries, unique add-ons and hefty carrying cases.

    • Bought this threader a couple years ago and used it once.......not too impressed.
The pipe clamp which is suppose to hold the pipe still as you thread, doesn't lock down tight enough and spins when threading. The bar at 90 degrees to the clamp that is suppose to catch the torque of the threader, bent at the point of insert, and almost fell out during first use. I barely got the 1-1/2" pipe threaded, and have never used the threader since. In my opinion, they place too much emphasis on "speed" of threading, and not enough on actual torque of the dies. You can't keep enough oil on the threading operation because the speed is way too fast rpm. I don't have three hands, and without someone who operates a seperate oiler the pipe starts to smoke. I will check all the dies for adjustment, but I used it as was from factory. I had poor results so am not thrilled at all with the 60v cordless threader. ... show more

We threaded 2 inch pipe. We managed to cut three sets of threads on one battery. With battery left.
