Not recommended. The job of an extractor requires that it be made of a very hard tool steel in order for it to cut into and bite the screw you are trying to extract. They must be harder than what they are extracting. These completely failed. Soft construction. I had a small soft metal hex bolt on my bicycle. It was the brake bleed cap on my Shimano Ultgra shifter.     • Bit holder is useless

The media could not be loaded. The bit holder that came with my kit is extremely crooked and basically useless (see video). Fortunately I have my own bit holder with my drill, and was able to use the smallest extractor to remove a tiny stripped screw from a small plastic device.

horrible horrible horrible, if I could leave zero stars I would, I was in the process of getting the broken bolt out when the extractor just snapped and it was stuck in the bolt, such bad quality and it made my job 100 times worse, it’s been a week and I STILL cannot get the extractor out from the hole, do not ever ever buy this ... show more
