The media could not be loaded. First, my condoleces on your situation. Some phillips head screw has ruined your day and now you need to extract it. But unless you want to do more swearing, don't bother with this product. In my case, I had some stainless screws that got stuck in aluminum. Two things went wrong: 1) The holder is crooked. It visibly wobbles when on a drill, see video. Useless. 2) OK, you don't need the holder, you can just put these on the drill chuck directly, BUT neither the drills nor the extractors will bite into stainless. Useless. I had to drill them out with a real center drill. I suppose this might work if you have to extract soft brass, but it didn't work AT ALL for stainless. ... show more

I got this extractor set to remove a micro screw the size used in key fobs that can barely be seen. Worked well enough to back out the stripped screw. The part with the black release tab (that goes into the drill chuck) was trash though. It made the drill bit wobble to point that it was unusable. Super cheap and worthless. But, the drill and extractor bits worked fine. Glad I got the set just for the drills and extractors. Don't expect them to be usable after a few uses though. ... show more

I stripped a rear sight set screw that wouldn’t come out due to having used blue thread locker when I should have used pink thread locker or none at all. I wanted to adjust the rear sight with my new bore laser and after stripping the screw while trying to remove it, I thought it would never come out. I was skeptical this tool would do the job, but after heating up the rear sight with a heat gun and using the Ex#9 extractor bit from this set, it came out as smooth as butter. I was skeptical. I have a small screw where the entire head sheared off. I had to use the smallest bits in this set. first of all, the extensions don't work at all... too wobbly. I just put the bit directly into the drill. the included drill bit was not making a hole. so i had to go with another small bit I had lying around. I was able to make a tiny hole. I had very little confidence the extractor bit would work, but it did! I was amazed and very happy. 3 stars cause nothing else in the set worked except for the extractor. ... show more

The SSD drive I had installed on my PS5 took a crap. Could not reformat it. So I had to remove it so I can run a diagnostic on my computer. But I accidentally stripped the little screw that secures the SSD drive. I tried everything to unscrew it. Would not budge and I only made it worse. So I purchased this set here and like magic it took it out in seconds with a drill. Btw do not use the bit holder it comes with, it makes it super wobbly. All I used was that ADP attachment it comes with for the drill and I used drill#8 and it worked right away. Got the screw out and the SSD drive out. I was stressing lol. Great purchase. ... show more

I bought this for use on small screws that were wallet out on airplanes I'm working on but I found that unless they're aluminum screws it just can't do them so it's nowhere near as effective as I needed to be you get what you pay for
