It takes both hands for me and trying to push the button and pull the cylinder up at the same time without the scooter falling over is not easy. The base is wide and the brake is easy to reach also. Really happy with this scooter. My 3.5 year old loves it. I love that all the wheels light up so I can see him easily in the evening. Also LOVE that it folds up!!! I expect we will get a lot of use out of this, since it can grow with him. It’s very solid and well made.
