Bought this a year ago for my kids and it's still going strong and we all enjoy it. I was afraid its was not safe for kids but they learned quick. I never forget because I was amazed by how they learned as we all tried and were all afraid the first day including all the adults. Then the kids tried again and my son who was 6 years then kind of gave up but my daughter who is younger and was 4 years last year kept trying and finally got the hang of it by few days. My son got the courage to try and then from there fighting for it never stopped. Thought they will use it outdoors when the weather is good but they used it indoors all winter. Love the design as it easy to hold it in the middle when we are going out and downstairs. Did my research before buying and read all the reviews I could find and settled on this one. Well, it was a great choice. I like stuff that don't die on you and this is great as it hold up charge for a long time. It seems to withstand all kind of mishandling and banging from my kids. The only concern is that I bought it when it was was more money and now is way less expensive. Just bought another one so my kids can stop fighting for it and that's why I decided to write the review. I read the review again and no problem that I can pinpoint that may be I have missed. The only thing is that the my kids lost the cover that cover the battery area even though it's a rubber tight squeeze, it somehow managed to get loose and out but have used it for a long time without it and its ok but my kids are not the best at handling things so I know it's not the way they made it but just noting. The lights are a great at night. Pair easy with my phone for music. If thinking of buying a hoverboard, spare all the hassle of thinking and researching and just buy you this one, you will not regret it. ... show more

My son absolutely LOVES this hoverboard! It was one of the best gifts he has gotten and he uses it all the time. I wasn't sure if it would be a fad, but he uses it to do his chores picking up toys and dishes and putting them away. It also is a fun toy. :) The best is the customer service. I am always hesitant buying brands I am not sure of, but this company got back to me right away with questions or concerns and has been easy to work with. I bought this for my grand daughter's 8th birthday. I researched, and read everything to make a responsible decision and this brand was at the top of each review for safety, and durability. The next step was to try it myself before I presented to her for her birthday. I read, and re-read the instruction for use, charged the battery until I had a full green signal on the charger. I got on the Hoverboard as instructed trying to have a fluid motion with one foot in back. I stood there on the Hoverboard for a good minute just wobbling, but never fell off or even felt like I was going to. I realized that the board was sensitive to my motions, and I was really confusing it. The instructions stated to not have anxiety, and I realized very quickly that meant to be relaxed. I memorized the instructions for moving forward, turning, stopping, ect. However I soon realized that it was just common sense. I do have a video of me jumping off the Hoverboard, which is really funny, but it was not a fall, and I should have just stayed on bending my knees as instructed. When I jumped off, the board immediately stopped, so I appreciate that as well. Withing 5 minutes I was travelling through the house, pretty flawlessly. I spent another few hours mastering the ride, it was so much fun. I can not wait for my grand daughter to start using this Hoverboard. After my practice runs I feel like she will be safe, and have fun. I have decided to purchase another board for me so we can ride together. The blue tooth synced perfectly with my phone, the sound is very clear, and crisp. I am 63 years old and not an adventurous type, but this Hoverboard is just easy fun. ... show more

I purchased the TOMOLOO Hoverboard with Speaker and Colorful LED as an Xmas gift for my 8-year-old son (who weighs about 80lbs.) and it began to malfunction after approximately 10 rides. The hoverboard has only been used indoors (on hardwood floors) because I wanted my son to get good at riding it before he rode it outside on concrete. However, when he rides it, the hoverboard intermittently and abruptly stops, which makes it difficult and dangerous to use. I checked to see if there was anything stuck in the wheels that would prevent it from turning smoothly, but even after I removed any dust/hair particles, the problem persists. We are very disappointed because my son has barely gotten to use his gift. I, of course, reached out to the company weeks ago and have not received a response. During the same time I bought the TOMOLOO hoverboard, I purchased a much cheaper pink one manufactured by a different company for my younger daughter but decided to pay almost $100 more for the TOMOLOO hoverboard because it seemed more reliable and I assumed my son could use it as he got older. Now both kids fight to use the cheap pink hoverboard, which has gotten a lot more use and has been running smoothly since day one. ... show more
