I use this electronic microscope to view stamps from my collection. It provides very good, high quality images and can be zoomed in considerably to view the minute details. I only found the microscope difficult to connect to an external, larger monitor. In my case it keeps hanging up and I need to reset the device to regain control. For this reason I only use the monitor included as it provides a good quality image ... show more

Sorry for the quality of the picture of a picture…lol. Read the other reviews and was a bit skeptical, but pulled the trigger anyway. Great packaging, easy assembly….although I’m not quite sure where the light barrier goes. I assume it may go over the item being scoped as there doe not appear to be any fasteners on it, and none of the photos show it anywhere on the scope itself. I plugged it in and it was instantly ready to use. I’ve been using it as a stand alone scope so far today. And have not tried nor needed to plug it into my CPU. I guess I got lucky and got one of the good ones!🎉 ... show more

This is advertised as being able to connect to a PC - but it is not. Don't waste your time if that's what you need.

Have only used it to view coins thus far, no pictures or videos yet. But I can zoom it in or out to view the smallest detail on a coin or view the entire coin. That is what I will mainly be using it for, and the display quality is nice and crisp.

I got this for viewing coins, but the lights on either side would not stay in place, they kept moving which made it difficult to view. The zoom feature was not working properly, but it could have been user error. The microscope has some weight to it and the workmanship and componenets seems to be good quality.
