Screen doesn’t tilt making it difficult for shorter people to see straight on. Side lamps work intermittently. Hard to see larger coins in their totality. Programming is challenging with the way the “instructions” are written. We’ll manage for now.

I am an avid coin collector and have been searching quite some time for a coin microscope. Everything I looked at was either made of cheap plastic, poor quality, did not come with SD card ability, etc. And when I did find something suitable, it was very high priced and way more than I was willing to spend. I finally found this one on Amazon and I was so excited!!! It has everything I was looking for, it is excellent quality, you can use the SD card, which by the way is included, or hook it directly to your computer or laptop, it is made of metal and very sturdy, and it even has extra adjustable lights on each side, and the price was amazing for this quality. It is absolutely perfect for inspecting my coins and I have found many other uses for it as well, including painting my finger nails, I absolutely love it. It does take a little bit of time to learn how to adjust it while viewing, so give it a little bit of time to get the hang of that. I highly recommend. ... show more

I purchased this as a gift for my wife who is new at collecting coins. Quality of the video was excellent and I didn't seem to have problems like others had with battery life yet. Problem we had is the USB DC 5 Volt connection at the top of the video screen. After less than 1 week the connector broke inside and now we are unable to charge the battery. Other than this one problem that now makes the unit unusable my wife was very happy with everything about it. ... show more
