  • Quarter Inch Steel Baby
This sled had a great price point compared to others. It’s made of smooth, flat, quarter inch steel. Strong welds. I use it in the hallway of our apartment complex, without fear of damage to the carpet. You can use it with plates that fit nicely over the pole, or remove the pole and put kettle bells on it. That’s how I use it. It comes with straps, which are high strength and durable. Shipping was rapid, and packaging was solid. Great addition to your home gym setup. ... show more

  • Works well enough for a simple sled
The sled itself is good, easy to use, and the harness is better than expected. My complaint would be that the holes don't line up great with the Olympic weight post (especially if the 2 plastic end caps are inserted ). With a bit of pounding, they can be made to fit though. My kids loved the sled and it's a helluva workout when pulling this thing around (weighted or not at 37lbs). I think the sled is solid and would likely recommend as a starting purchase if considering this type of fitness workout equipment. However, after buying a this Titan brand product, I have begun looking at other brands of prowler and 4 post sleds, given the reviews I've read and the quality of hardware included in this product (there's only one piece to assemble and it's dysfunctional - so what's it gonna be like putting 3 legs on a prowler or more parts on a 4 post?! - No thanks). ... show more

  • Very solid sled from quality materials
The sled is very well built. My friend has two fat boy sleds from another brand and there is little discernable difference. I bought this because my strength coach (Josh Bryant author of several books available here) wants me to drag fairly heavy and I think this will hold more than enough. It's pretty thick steel and will likely work on a paved surface just fine. I drag on grass and think this will do better than the lighter sled I had that used two runners under it. The snap clip that came with it is thick and the strap looks to be strong although I've not tested its limits yet. The post is sized for Olympic plates and is plenty tall. You can stack 45 or 100 pound plates and get all the resistance you could ask for. I'm looking at a Titan power rack for my gym when move next spring. I think they have solid quality. I've bought things from reputable companies like Ironmind and others and I appreciate heavily built equipment that will last for years. I believe this sled will suit me for quite some time. ... show more

  • Nice Sturdy Sled for Pulling
Just received it today and i immediately tested it out. I was looking for a sled that can be used on grass and this sled was exactly what I was looking for. Starting with 2-45 lb olympic plates and did 6 sets of 50 yard pulls. I pulled it walking forward and backwards. The sled is very sturdy and portable. The harness that came with the sled felt very comfortable but will have to wait and see how it performs when more weight is added. Note that this sled is only for pulling. Very satisfied so far with my purchase. ... show more

  • Titan Fitness did it again!
This is my 3rd item from Titan Fitness and they made another great product. I highly recommend this sled. It's sturdy as heck and it does its job very well. The straps that it comes with are pretty impressive as well. I've been doing 1/2 mile sled drags and I don't see this thing wearing out anytime soon. Thank you for making an affordable yet awesome product. ... show more

  • Excellent design and price
This sled is perfect for design and price. I bought another one that broke the very first day and wouldn't even hold the plates properly and that was with my 11 year old using it. This one is heavy duty metal plate, heavier than I expected but not a problem at all and the carabiner is actually heavy duty not like the other product that bent after one pull with 45lbs. This is a great sled. ... show more

  • Nice to add to the arsenal for training
I had been using furniture movers under the plates & improvising a way to drag the plates. The irony less weight on the sled felt heavier than my improvised version. The sled will only hold 405 lbs with the post that comes with it. I was dragging 450 - 500 with my furniture movers version. I'll figure out a way to add more weight to this as well. It's pretty heavy & sturdy. Wish i could leave it at the gym, but not an option. Oh if you never done this before be prepared to get light headed, dizzy & nausea the first few times you do this if you're going at least 50 yards with some significant weight. It's an exercise unless you're used to doing it is very different than just lifting weights. Trust me, me & a few associates found out the hard way. lol ... show more
