They sent me a replacement immediately, even before I had time to go to an UPS store to return the defective one. The new one works perfectly. I have used it to trim bushes and even to fell a tree with a 5 inch diameter but about 15' high. I worked with it for almost three hours before the battery ran out. Impressive right out of the box! The Chainsaw and accessories packed neatly in compact tackle box: gloves, safety glasses, 2 batteries and charger, extra blade, extra chain, screw driver, brush for cleaning, instruction booklet, small bottle for oil, and the chainsaw ready to go except for putting oil in the tank. I loved the presentation! I quickly read the simple instructions, filled the tank with oil, and headed for my backyard where a recent snow storm had brought down 2 large limbs from my neighbor's tree. I quickly and easily cut those limbs(5-6 in diameter) into manageable length and weight, and moved them to curb for pick up. I'm a 73 year old, 5 ft, 115 lb female. I am so impressed with the power in such a small tool and the ease of handling; very light weight and yet looks and feels like a quality tool. My neighbor across the alley asked if he could check it out and he made a couple cuts on a branch that had fallen in his yard. I asked him if he wanted to borrow it and he said "thanks, but for 40 some bucks I'm going in the house and order my own from Amazon." LOL ... show more

Light, handy, very sharp, easy to use, the chain is easy to tighten! Comes with 2 batteries and has a long battery life. Generally, all around fantastic tool! Trimmed climbing wisteria that was 2-3 inches thick, climbing roses, and shrubs. It would easily trim 6 inch tree branches. Amazing. Fantastic product. This little saw is tough, strong and does a great job. I easily cut thru fairly thick branches without an issue. I did notice the chain needs tightening now, but that os normal I beleive. Great saw for the money.

Easy set up. I added bar & chain oil to reservoir. Batteries already fully charged! Removed chain guard and cut up small limbs and one small 5” log in no time with plenty of capacity left in battery. BTW comes with 2 batteries. You’ll like this tool.
