This solar light is great for sheds or dark areas that do not have electricity available. Four panels are adjustable to direct the light where you need it. The solar panel charges the batteries during the day. The battery life lasts all night if the light is set to on all night. There are several settings to choose from (listed in the description). I like option #2, which is the light turns on when motion is detected and turns off 15 seconds after you leave. It’s in a shed, so it doesn’t need to run all night. For me this light is great! I will do a pro/con list. Pros: easy install very straight forward and puts off enough light for my 2 stall shed row style horse barn. I don’t have electrical out there so it’s great being able to see! I can feed and clean stalls no problem. Cons: I purchased two lights and after two weeks of use one is no longer working. Could be a bad angle on my solar panel and it has been over cast but I bought the protection plan in case it is actually broken. My other issue is the settings. I just need full power light for about an hour every day. There is not a setting on the light for that option unless you do the motion sensor option and that gets annoying if you are out of zone for it to pick up on movement. You have to be moving directly by it for it to stay on full blast light. The other option is “mode 3” which stays on at night BUT it is at like half brightness. This light does the trick and works for me for now. I would buy again however I don’t know if I will keep this long term because the settings options don’t exactly fit my needs. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First impressions are great. If you purchase the 2-pack, 1 remote will work on both. I don’t really care about the different modes - just a simple on/off button is what I wanted. The mounts on both the light and solar panel are versatile enough for you to mount on pretty much any angle you need. I attached mine to the side of the rafter to save as much headspace as possible. Not the brightest light we’re used to with normal power, but definitely gets the job done for a storage shed! ... show more

    • 15 seconds timeout is too short

Overall design is good light is bright and the installation was easy. The problem is that there is a built in 15 second timeout on the light is way to short and makes the product nearly useless in a garage where you need time to get in or out of your vehicle. A 3 minute timeout would be a lot better for a timeout. The motion sensor only works from directly below the light up to about 6 feet away, this would be better if it had range of 15 to 230 feet. The remote control also has a limited range of only 6 to10 feet from the light so it really does not work remotely. Setting 1 dim-to-bright for overnight work works well all night so it does the job. My biggest problem is that the light timeout period is to short. ... show more
