  • Lightweight, roomy pan! Cook a little or a lot...
Color: Green
I LOVE this pan! It's a deep sided sauté pan that's perfect for cooking a big batch of ground beef or mushrooms or fresh vegetables without crowding, and without your food slopping over the sides when you stir. It heats very quickly and evenly so you can get a really good hot sear on meat and seal in the juices. You can make a big batch of spaghetti sauce or stir-fry with out mess. It comes with a large flat steamer basket that holds a huge amount of veggies or fish above the water so that your food steams evenly without getting wet. You can even steam stale bread or bagels in the pan to refresh them without getting soggy. The glass lid fits easily and has a steam escape so you don't need to keep the lid ajar. The handle has a comfortable, non-slip grip and, best of all, it unscrews quickly and easily if you want to remove it and use the pan in the oven as a casserole, or bring it to the table as a serving dish. For such a roomy pan it is very lightweight. It cleans with just a quick wipe with soapy water. It's much more versatile and efficient than any expensive pans I've ever used. And I love the dark green color! ... show more

  • There are a couple of edits. Very lightweight, but heats evenly.
Color: Green
I usually like heavier bottomed cookware; this is very lightweight. You will need to prepare the pot before using it. Fill the pot 2/3 full with water boil about 5 minutes, empty, wipe clean, and repeat two more times. Wipe dry and rub a thin coat of oil all over the inner surface of the pot. Leave in a dry place for 12 hours, wash, dry, then use the pot as needed. I'll repost in a month or so to report on it's condition after typical use. The green is really pretty. Edit Still love it. Cooks beautifully on medium #4 electric cooktop, and great on 2.5 to 3 for a lidded simmer. Silicone lid rim comes off easily for cleaning (careful with the lid though). Also, be careful lifting the lid off of the heated pot as it forms a suction. Use the silicone spatula to release the pressure seal on the lid before trying to remove the lid. Still nonstick, still beautiful. Breaking the lid is the only thing I worry about so far. Edit. The lid broke (my fault). The company does not sell replacement lids which is too bad. While there are 11 inch lids that will fit the pan, none are compatible to the light pressure capability of the original lid, and it sucks. ... show more

  • Best pan ever! Don't hesitate, buy one!
Color: Purple
I received this pan as a gift from a close friend for my birthday because I love purple. The funny part is, it's an awesome pan. It's sturdy, well-made, and functional. I've made Spanish rice, chicken, eggs, and steamed buns in it. Nothing sticks, and it's easy to clean. it has now become my favorite pan and more than worth the money. It will be my new go to "gift" when I need to send something A+. ... show more

  • Pan to Keep It Minimal - Still Better Than Always Pan
Color: Purple
I’ve been waiting for an alternative to the Always Pan as I refused to pay $150 for a pan that can’t go into the oven. Enter the Tiborang Pan. I love the versatility and it works in the oven! To try it out I decided to do this chicken and fettuccini baked dish. I had to pan fry the chicken thighs so I followed directions and had it on medium heat and yes, it heat up quickly and pan fried evenly. So in that regard, it’s a nice replacement for a skillet. Next, I had to boil the water for the pasta. I will admit, it took longer to boil water but eventually I was able to put all the pasta in the pan and it fit nicely for me to stir. So it’s fine as a pot. By the way, it comes with a steamer pan that allowed me to put asparagus in the basket above the pasta and use the low pressure lid to do its thing. It steamed well and here’s where 4 stars come in: the directions state to use a fork to release the pressure valve and not your hand. Well I did try to use a fork and nothing and pressed the red button again and it popped inside. That was annoying but it is a rubber thing that I guess is more for decoration. Finally, I added the sauce, herbs and Parmesan and added the chicken back on top of the pasta and in the oven it went. This does come with a removable handle so you need to remove it before putting it in the oven. I baked it for 20 minutes and it came out great! So it’s fine as an oven cast iron or casserole dish (even though it’s not). Clean up is a breeze - you can imagine this In a casserole dish would’ve been a mess - nope, not this. Keep in mind you have to let it cool off before cleaning it. I hand washed it and it cleans like a dream. So all in all, this is a great pan even with the minor flaw of the air pressure valve. I’ll check in a few months later with an update. ... show more

  • Beautiful, seems sturdy
Color: Pink
I haven’t used this too many times yet but so far I have nothing negative to say about it. Fell in love as soon as I opened it and it hasn’t let me down yet!

  • Versatile, solid, but not heavy
Color: Purple
I must bought my 2nd purple pan because I need 2 sometimes. I love the steamer tray, I use this pan all the time. Detachable handle makes it great to use this as a casserole or meatloaf pan. I use it pretty much every day. I wish they would send an extra steamer plug for the lid, I lost it within a few months of purchase. Or better idea, redesign it so it can't fall out. Other than that, I love this pan. ... show more
