  • A Picture Book for All Ages
There should be more, many more, picture books for adults. THE DOG WHO FOLLOWED THE MOON could be classified as a picture book for all ages, even though much of its imparted wisdom would go over young’uns head. But no matter, because the story enchants, and the images keep anyone with a heart tethered to the journey of looking for lost loved ones and finding deep friendships along the way. This beautiful volume is in the tradition of THE LITTLE PRINCE, and long overdue. ... show more

  • 5 BEAUTIFUL STARS!
I bought this book for myself and as a gift for someone else. I'm so glad I did. This book is a straightforward, simple to read, captivating story with many messages that spoke to me and comforted my soul. It's beautifully written and illustrated, nothing like I normally read, brought me to tears at times and then made my heart smile. What more can you ask for? Treat yourself and enjoy! ... show more

  • Follow the moon....
I own every book written by James Norbury. When I saw this was coming out I had to buy it. His story telling is great and his art work is amazing. The book is kind of sad but what you learn from it can be used in your own life. It doesn't take long to read but I like to read his books several times to savor what he has to teach. Can't wait for the next one! ... show more

  • Inspiring & surprisingly profound
Nearly moved my partner and me to tears! (Okay, so maybe it actually did.) I could list some themes — finding “family,” true purpose, living in the moment, “paying it forward,” never giving up on what really matters (while being willing to let go of what doesn’t matter so much… or what is out of one’s control) — but none of these statements have the “staying power” for your soul like this little book does. Filled with metaphor. Beautiful artwork. Speaks to the adult and the “child within” simultaneously. Timeless wisdom. ... show more
