  • Fun little book
This is a great little book! I do wish it were a bit longer with more pages, but that isn't a deal breaker. I will likely buy more. I actually look forward to completing this every day before bed. It's more of a day recap, which i like. There are daily bits and in addition to daily gratitudes, scattered means to grow and reflect by way of forgiving yourself and others. I find that I am hooked on these little journals. Often i will use pencil and just erase and redo, rather than buying more. ALSO, good to gift to friends (those who aren't offended by some profanity ;) A good way to just close the day and stay off-line before bed. Just put the phone down and ENJOY! ... show more

  • Funny and helps you with mindfulness
Cute little notebook to get some things out. Puts a smile on my face after a hard day. Plus writing out some of that BS really helps

  • Could be a bit better, but is generally what I was looking for
My copy arrived in perfect condition, so no issues there. The quality is about what I was anticipating -- not faded ink like some experienced, and certainly not just a book cover like some very unlucky folks received. I picked this journal because I'm terrible at journaling. I've read time and again the value of gratitude journaling, but my attempts to journal completely unprompted have failed. Either I end up lacking inspiration due to a generally low mood, or I found having to repeatedly write out my headings (like in bullet journaling) a bit tedious. This solves both of those problems for me. I like that there is a spot for gratitude with every day, but the other prompts in the spread are mixed and matched. This is perfect for me, as I know I would struggle to find fresh things to say to the same prompts every single day. Some gratitude journals only have the date and gratitude prompts, which feels a bit uninspiring to me. I'm glad this is a bit more than that. My only negatives are a touch nitpicky. The construction isn't particularly high quality. I wouldn't anticipate journaling with markers (or even particularly juicy pens), as the paper is quite thin. It feels about on par with a cheap coloring book or standard paperback, and I don't think it'll hold up well to a lot of handling. I wasn't really expecting heavy duty paper at this price point, so that didn't bother me much, but it's worth keeping in mind. I did also immediately notice a few typos when flipping through, or areas where the grammar was a bit clumsy and difficult to understand. There's also a lack of cohesion in the spread designs, as the artwork on the spreads looks likely to be composed of a lot of seemingly random (and assumedly royalty free) clip art. Again -- this is a pretty low price point for this sort of thing, so I can't begrudge them too much for not forking out for a professional illustrator. But an editor to clean up some of the typos and grammar would have been nice. Long story short, if you're just looking for a basic journal to get you in the habit of gratitude journaling with a few bonus prompts, this will do just fine. If you're looking for something where you can bust out the colorful markers on some high gsm paper, or something a little more "that girl" aesthetic on more than just the cover, I'd spend a bit extra for something nicer. ... show more

  • helpful
they is exactly what i wanted. It has prompts or activities to do and or write about. it has helped me a few times to bring my self back to earth, and work out my issue. As a 90s kid and who enjoys the adult coloring book this is a good option to get some good writing out about how life is going.

  • Love this journal
Thought I'd give journaling a try so I bought this one. It's super cute, has pages to color on and neat pictures throughout. It's challenged me to really think about what I'm grateful for and what some of my challenges are in life. Some days the spaces won't apply to what's happened in my day but I still find something to write about and think about at the beginning and end of the day. Great little journal. ... show more

  • Great gift and had lots of laughs!
Got this as a gag gift for my mother, which was a very daring move. When she seen it we instantly started laughing and she actually loved it! She still uses it to this day and has no complaints! Might get another one for myself!
