You can pretty much just open the package and immediately put this device on your car within 60 seconds or so. It seems incredibly durable and I can see how it might deter someone from trying to steal your car. When not in use, it can be stored pretty easily, which I'd recommend, cuz just sitting on your car's floor space it will take up quite a bit of it. But, under the seat or in the trunk is probably wise. Now, it's also so durable that you could probably use it for self defense from even an elephant attack or knock a grand slam out of the park with it. ... show more

Easy to lock and unlock (something the reviews scared me initially because who wants to be your own victim if you suddenly can’t unlock this from your steering wheel?). If there’s one thing that can be improved is to have the velcro strap that holds it secured when not in use be tethered in some ways or you can easily lose it. Looks good and strong. Goes on and off easy. Feels good and secure. Love the extra security. Wish it had a thick durable rubber band or bungee strap to hold the sliding hooks together for fast and easy hold instead of a Velcro strap. Overall, it does the job well.

This is easy to install as I found others to be difficult, it also locks out when you pull it requiring the key to unlock it. I like that the key feature is not standard so the its not one that thieves can use a universal key on to get it off. I know in the world we live in nothing is full proof but this is a deterrent that lets them know its going to take more than a few seconds to jump in and take my car and hopefully making them move on to something easier. ... show more
