This is my first teapot. I only drink black tea, so wanted something simple and without all the bells and whistles, and this is it. Water comes to a boil in about 4 minutes and it automatically shuts off, along with the light (cute feature). There's a switch to keep it warm. I can use tea leaves or tea bags. Easy to clean, just soak some vinegar in it overnight when needed. Takes up very little counter space and looks attractive. If I had anything negative to say about it, the top needs a larger opening. What the instructions don’t say but we do is turn on both the boiling button and the holding button at the same time. The pot will boil within just a few minutes then stay hot all day long. It has a 1 liter/ 1quart capacity. The tea filter is a bit above the bottom of the pot, so you can’t brew a small amount of tea in the pot, I will guess you need to brew at least two cups minimum. This pot is totally inappropriate for cold brew. You need a french press for that. But if you want hot water all day long, this pot is terrific. ... show more

This is a sturdy kettle and I like that it lights up when it is brewing. I use loose tea and the kettle does not take long to brew the tea. The switch on is on the handle which I found odd but the kettle works great!

This is my first electric kettle & I have to say I'm not sure why I waited so long to buy one. The stay warm feature is very nice. The light is pretty blue/purple & it's reasonably quiet. Love the tea infuser! I prefer loose leaf so this is perfect for me.

Water heated in glass tastes better. The opening is large enough to put your hand in and wash the pot. I don't need an eight cup pot. It is fast and I love the lit blue lights when it is heating the water.

This is the BEST electric kettle. I can't wait to push the button on top of the handle, The kettle turns blue and starts churning away and with the keep warm feature it's hot all morning long. I love being able to make a quick pot of tea and being able to keep the tea warm. It works like a charm. What I don't like about it is it's nearly impossible to clean the tea stains from the pot.
