Best Black Friday deal yet. I love the glass kettle and how fast it boils water. The blue lights are way cool and I love the auto shut off feature. The water still remains hot for a while, but sometimes I get distracted by a call or someone stopping by and I don't have to worry about it boiling dry. I love this! It's boils super fast. It's light in weight even with it being full to the fill line. I used to just microwave water in a mug for a cup of tea, but this is so much better because it gets the water the appropriate temp for tea whereas the microwave doesn't without causing damage to the mug etc. There's no assembly, and I love the self shutoff. I have purchased larger electric kettles in the past and a have found that they don’t last. This one is perfect for my needs and the price is exceptional! It holds just over 4 cups of water, heats quickly and looks great on the counter. The base is a little light but it works without issue. I particularly like that it is easy on my wrist when holding the kettle. It’s a little more awkward to pour water into the kettle than my old one as the lid doesn’t open to a complete 90 degree angle but still not a problem overall. I also like that it uses less amps than most kettles which means that if you have several kitchen counter appliances on same circuit, it is less likely to trip the GFCI. ... show more

This is probably my 6th electric tea kettle as I did not discover their perfection until later in life. I do prefer one with temperature controls but alas, that isn’t in the budget right now. This has a large capacity and works well. I like the cool touch plastic casing feature. The pour spout is where I see the only issue, it does like to dribble and spill a little bit. But I can live with that. The min/max lines are only inside the kettle, so just be aware. Love how shiny and black it is on the counter. The media could not be loaded. It boils real quick, 7 minutes to boil 7 cups of water! My brother brought one of smaller volume (1L) and he highly recommended it. I believe that I need a bigger one hence I chose the 1.7L which also look nicer. The appearance of this kettle is cool. It's such a pleasure to see the LED light on and the water gradually starts to boil. That's why I prefer a glass pot. The best part is that it turns off on his own once the water boiled to a certain point. But be careful, the glass pot gets hot when the water starts to boil. I first noticed how well it was packaged. Because it was glass, I was certain it would be broken or chipped upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised and even more so when I examined the quality..I removed it from its packaging and immediately gave it a test run and it worked perfectly. I love the blue lights, bubbles and the auto shut-off is much needed by me since I have put water on and forgot it and messed up many pots and pans! So happy I ran across this.
