Honestly it looks better than the picture in my opinion. Handle feels nice and sturdy and at a natural angle for pouring, which for some reason is hard to come by. Also the spout is easy to control so you could easily do a pour over with something like this even though it's not quite as thin as most gooseneck kettles out there. It is my primary means of easy boiled water for tea, ramen, cleaning, etc... It seems fast to me, and even right after boiling the bottom of the kettle is cool enough to hold or set on a counter, but make sure to test it if youre nervous. I was glad to find something that met the parameters I was looking for.(Ergonomic, decent to look at on my counter, matches my other stuff, can do pour over coffees.) Pretty standard really, if you're looking for a water boiler that is aesthetic, affordable, and quick this is your product! My only miniscule complaint is the connection wire is pretty short at probably like 2-3 feet? I was hoping to have it on my metal standing desk to brew drinks while I work. I used this kettle for 3.5 years, about 2 of which the auto off was broken so we just went by vibes (terrible idea). I will say the positives are 1. This was really one of the first cute retro kettles on the market. 2. It didn't EVER get limescale! 3. The water mark is easy to read for lefties. The negatives are 1. It's really easy to get steam burned from the holes in the top. 2. The auto off seems to break easily. Overall it was a wonderful little machine, at least for 1.5 years. ... show more
