The media could not be loaded. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this electric kettle!!! You will too! The blue LED light is so fun and shines through the bubbly, boiling water. How cool is that? Brings joy to my day :) Thoughts and User Error (my fault): First of all, do not hand wash this electric kettle when it arrives. I always wash everything and did not read the directions first. Instead, boil two pots of water as per the manufacturer’s directions to clean the inside of the electric kettle. (You can clean the outside when necessary with a lightly damp cloth as per the directions). Since I hand washed my kettle as soon as it arrived, I somehow got water where it wasn’t supposed to be and so the kettle worked for one second and then shut off. Great safety feature! Excitement gone. I saw the pretty blue lights and then nothing. My heart sank. Then I read the directions. I realized my error that I was to not wash the kettle. I immediately tried to shake any water out of the bottom side of the kettle and then set the kettle aside to dry out for several days. Fingers crossed. Then several days later, I tested it again and low and behold, it worked! (I had only washed the inside of the kettle but I must’ve dripped water somewhere I shouldn’t have during the process. Also, it was a little difficult to wash inside the kettle (tight opening for a hand to fit) so that probably should have been my first clue). This electric kettle is so stylish and functional at the same time. I highly recommend the white color. It really looks clean on the counter and the blue light really pops with the white and stainless. I contemplated getting a fun color like pink, but am happy I chose white. I almost immediately ordered a second kettle after I thought I broke this one as even in that first glimpse, I knew it was cool and I’d really enjoy it each day! Heats extremely fast and is just SO fun to watch! I think it is a good value too. I researched numerous brands and stores and this one had the features I was looking for. Simple, clean design, not a ton of buttons, I can see the water level, easy pouring, heats quickly, I can turn it off if I want just hot water rather than boiling because I can see what stage it is at, and as a bonus, it has the fun blue light! We love this water kettle. It is easy to fill and heats up really quickly. We like the size and clear viewing of water levels. The only downside is the pour spout. It’s okay…but hard to use for pour over coffees. I would recommend this item and we are still pretty happy with it.

I am disappointed with the muted red instead of the bright red pictured in the photo. I like the inclusion of stainless steel. I wished the warranty was more than a year due to fact that a extended warranty was not offered. It seems to heat up fast however I have not time it. I am using it to boil water for drinking and preparing hot beverages. It was well packed but not delivered when promised by Amazon. I feel it's worth the money and I realize that I may be buying these kettle now about every two years wish compared to the older ones that last for almost ten years. The durability of hot water kettles theses days are weak these days which makes me think they are making them weaker so you keep buying them. Maybe I should by a more expensive one because that did last 10 plus years. After cleaning and boiling twice before using the water I did notice a slight smell of the water that did not make my tea enjoyable. I am also noticing water on the bottom when I lift it off the platform. If it continues I will return it. ... show more

It has a large mouth opening and it boils the water in 1-2 minutes. It is wonderful. Some reviewers complained about the short cord, but if you keep it on your counter the cord is ample. It heats the water in less than 5 minutes! I actually dropped it yesterday and it still works very well and it’s built great, it doesn’t have a nasty smell like a couple of other kettles I bought.
