It has a nice look And it shuts off automatically whether you wanted to or not It does not leak I use filtered water Heat the water Quite quickly I won't say instantly Definitely faster than on the stove top So I am pleased with it's performance It has a spot that you could hang tea if you wanted to in it And it also has a filter for the spout It seems to be made of good material. I haven't had rust yet How high to fill it Marker inside You don't have to feel the side. It's actually so easy I wish I took a picture and maybe do so but I have some time Washing it isn't as easy but I've never run across the teapot that's easy to wash.. Lol. But my hand is small enough to get in there and move around I try not to let water sit in it when I'm not using it. With any teapot. . It's just not good to do that with metal My tea tastes wonderful It's hot Though I wish it would heat for just a little bit longer. There is no button to change it to heat for a little bit longer that is the 1 downside. This KitchenAid electric kettle is perfect for quickly boiling up to 1.25 L of water. The onyx black version is glossy and rather stylish with the stainless steel accents. Very easy to use and clean, and includes an integral removable filter. While not a “smart” kettle, you can use a high-wattage smart switch to automate turning it on. Once the water boils, the kettle automatically shuts off. Note that there is no temperature control or keep-warm feature, but you can turn the kettle back on if the water cools to reboil it. I’ve had this for about three months now. So far no issues. The tea pot boils water just fine. There’s really not much extra bells and whistles to it. It seems sturdy enough for normal home use.
