This monster truck features an American pick-up truck like body that gives it a realistic appearance. The front grill, air intake, and roll bar have been recreated with metal plated parts. The Super Clod Buster features a twin-motor dual gearbox 4WD drive train, a durable link-arm, eight coil springs, and massive 165mm diameter tires for powerful and efficient running to overrun any obstacle. Want to enjoy monster truck running? The Super Clod Buster is made for you! The Super Clod Buster is equipped with two motors and tightly sealed gearboxes that have been molded as one piece with axle housing. Minimum power loss and smooth cornering are obtained thanks to a gear train transmission and differentials. The included Dual Motor ESC provides ample power to get your truck over obstacles. Furthermore, this monster truck is also equipped with a 4WS system for 4-wheel drive steering. This is a fun kit to build and this edition kit really doesn't require any painting which is nice. I mean you can always paint if you like. But you can build it and it will look just like the pictures with no painting. Also there are a lot of aftermarket parts for the clodbuster like RCR Servo relocation kits, lift kits and all kind of cool parts. Looks really cool with the lift kit brackets. ... show more

Growing up the clodbuster was beyond our family's means. It was the ultimate wish, but I was old enough to know better than to ask for it. I waited 34 years, and now I have him. This grey limited edition is way better than the original, and holy crap it is fast with a 3s pack. Gone are the days of 3 minute run times, and 12 hour charges. I don't know how much I'll actually drive him, but seeing him on the shelf reminds me of better times and possibilities. ... show more

This is the same clodbuster we all know and love. Unchanged since 1987. This limited edition gray color scheme is in my opinion the best look tamiya has released yet. It looks and drives like a monster truck from the Golden era. Stop contemplating and buy it while you can.
