Day delivery. I can use my Dewalt 20V batteries with this tool. It worked well on my shelving project. Wish there was an option to buy a second paint bowl with a screw on air tight lid. This would make cleaning between coats easier and more sufficient. It sure can kill a batters though. Good thing I have 4 batteries. Seems to be constructed well, and it functions flawlessly with all of my DeWalt batteries. Haven't had a chance to actually paint with it yet.

    • For the price you might as well get the higher quality product
As a hobbyist this was fine, but as a professional I'd advise biting the bullet on more expensive equipment. This is a you get what you buy. Do your research before pouring paint in, make sure your using the right kind and consistency or you'll have a lot of grief cleaning this out later. Wash your nozzles between refils and it'll help with any drying. Clean immediately, don't leave for too long. If you take care of the equipment its a pretty decent little tool, just not my favorite. ... show more

This is a battery powered air blower that just throws paint at the wall. It’s garbage. You have to thin down the paint more than the paint manufacturer recommends. So blotchy, clunky spray. Went through 7 dewalt batteries to paint a 15x15 room. Now I’ll have to redo the room with a roller.

    • Convenience of cord free if you have DeWalt batteries. no clotting or heavy points
I actually had to grab myself a DeWalt compatible battery for this (I knew it didn't come with one but most of my tool have been Milwaukee or (don't make fun) black & Decker) but even then this is well worth having. If you haven't used a paint gun like this before be sure to read the instructions as you don't want to just pour in your paint and go. But it's not difficult to do either. Just read. The paint application has been very smooth and covers very evenly and well. Not seeing clotting, bubbles or heavy application areas in the spray. Gets a bit much to hold for very long but I mean, it is a paint gun with a reservoir for a decent amount of paint. Battery life has been acceptable but if you've got much of a job then I'd recommend having a second (or more) battery ready to go as well. When I say much of a job I'm thinking more than your standard shed size maybe? I can't speak to longevity of this yet as I've not had it long and can update if my thoughts or experiences change but as of now I'm very pleased with this and although I wish these tools came with batteries, many of us already have some around so the lower price overall is well worth that. ... show more
