Not expensive, however, good quality, held up without shedding, and wonderful sizes. I've painted an entire house inside and used them for foundation sealing paints. Handled both exceptionally.

I was pleasantly surprised by these brushes. I was pretty much anticipating a step above a throw-away. I’d have been happy to get two or three uses out of each. So far they have been great. They hold a decent amount of paint but not so much that they’re hard too clean. They’re thin and pliable but the bristles don’t separate and leave coverage gaps. They may not hold up as long as more pricey brushes, but for the price I can afford to replace them as needed. ... show more

I wouldn't try to use them to cut in a paint edge but they make great throwaway poly or shellac brushes. Better value than foam ones now that they no longer make high density foam brushes. No major bristle shed although you will loose some here or there better than a chip brush by far

I used these for applying a variety of water and oil based paints to metal with great results and no stray bristles. They cleaned op very easily when used with the water based Corosol product. I think the value was excellent and I would purchase them again.

I kid you not, quality brush sets used to be $1.75 a set. PRO: 1. No straggler bristles right out the box. 2. Firm, yet flexible. 3. Price I guess? CON: 1. WOwowow, paint brushes have gotten so expensive, glad I found these at the 7 dollar price. 2. I feel sorry for those who have a business and need brushes all the time. No wonder house painting is so expensive, don't get me stated on a single gallon of paint costing $91.00! ... show more

    • Better than inexpensive big box brushes

I used these brushes for soled stain application on railings and stairways. There were a nice selection and they clean up nicely too. I tried some inexpensive brushes from a big bad store, don’t waste your money. Try these instead.
