On the recommendation of a fellow DIY’er, I ordered these brushes. I was skeptical about the quality given the low price but, much to my surprise & delight, these brushes are fantastic! With the same brush , I have applied topcoat to a large dining table and back brushed two coat of stain on more than 100 x 6 feet of weathered wood fence. The brush performed well and was easy to clean. Looks great with the exception of a bit of stain on the handle and the metal. I highly recommend these brushes.     • Nice inexpensive set of brushes - better quality than I expected.
I did not expect much but for the price I was pleasantly surprised. They worked well with the stain and clear coat I used them for. They do lose a bristle or 2 here and there but not too bad. Decent handle (wood I believe) and the different sizes come in handy for little odd jobs. I cleaned out with thinner easily and they are still useable (and not a single use type product you would get at the big box home improvement stores at this price point). I admit if I'm a little spoiled from having used pro-quality paintbrushes, so I won't compare this set to those. I've also used paint brushes around this price, and I wasn't expecting much. When compared to the usual quality of a set at this price, these are surprisingly good. Very little bristle loss, cleans up well, and the tapered edge cuts into tight spaces, giving you decent control over the application. Paint brushes are so expensive but these are the best value for your buck and are great. They don't leave bristles all over your stuff so I'm grateful for that. They're easy to clean and I was able to paint my entire patio furniture!

For a set of 'basic' paint brushes, these are a good value for the price. Bristles are of good quality (and a paint brush is only as good as the bristles). Handles are smooth and just the right size/shape for a comfortable grip. Cleaning the brush heads is quick and easy when used with water based paints. I did not use them with oil based or stains, but would imagine a similar cleaning experience with those as well. I recommend these as a good value. ... show more

    • These are ok
For the price, I will use the old saying, you get what you pay for... The brushes seem fine, soft bristles, decent handles. However, I probably had been painting for five minutes and bristles started coming out, I am a good, neat painter so it is not that I had soaked the brush with paint or anything. The brushes do a decent job if you don't mind picking out bristles from your painted surface every fifteen minutes. I will not purchase again.     • Bang for your buck
I bought this product and had it delivered for convenience. It turned out to be a great decision. And it's a wonderful value. When I go to the store it would cost me this for one brush. With this I get five. I ordered it a second time because I was painting the upstairs and it arrived just 10 minutes before I needed another brush. The brushes are good and this is a tremendous value.
