Update: I had the below issue with my stand and their team reached out to me and not only sent me a new stand but also a brand new case to ensure it would work. Thank you! Initial Issue: It fell off in under 48 hours. The M3 cohesive on the back of the stand did not last on a hard plastic case which the product description contradicts. There was a matte finish on the case but there were no instructions which specified this would be an issue. Either from poor instructions (the box comes with zero), or lack of full spectrum testing by the sellers, this is a total flop. The box that arrived was very small and contained 2 items. The kickstand and the peel-away adhesive; again, no instruction. I placed the kickstand already lined with adhesive on my phone without the additional piece of M3. All my past experience with similar products pointed toward this being the right decision with the additional adhesive to be used as backup. It also detached immediately when I tried to attaching it back with the spare M3 piece. I will update this score if I receive a replacement with further instruction. I am willing to buy a new case for this since it felt like a strong connection at the hinge and was very sturdy otherwise. ... show more

    • TURN IT THE OTHER WAY TO KEEP IT STUCK ON

This was going to get a 1-star review from me because it kept falling off. I keep my phone in portrait mode 95% of the time, and when I installed it the way all the pictures show, parallel to the short edge of the phone and about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up from the bottom, the weight of the phone made the stand come unglued after about 15 minutes. (Yes, I used an alcohol wipe to clean my case first. My case is hard but very slightly rubbery plastic - maybe this wouldn't be an issue if I had a truly hard case.) But then! Brain blast! I turned the stand so that it's parallel to the LONG edge of the case (hinge end up, and with the bottom end about as low as it can go on the back of the phone), rather than parallel to the short end. Now it works marvelously! I can prop my phone up in portrait mode all day long and it stays there. It works just as well in landscape mode this way too. It's perhaps a bit less stable than it would be in the intended configuration, but that's not a problem unless there's an earthquake ... and if there's an earthquake, you probably have bigger problems. ... show more

Bought two of these! My phone case a while ago had a stand like this installed to it so I've just gotten used to using one. Problem was the "built in" ones aren't really good quality and can snap pretty easily. These come in with a nice matte black finish, and open up nice and firm. It's pretty nice because if you attach this to the back of a phone case, can just watch shows on your phone or even hold it up for a video call. Can hold your phone from the stand itself because it's pretty sturdy. Besides, I just buy this with a nice plain case? And it feels complete. I love being able to watch videos on my phone while cooking & the stand works great for that. Folds in & of easily. However, the adhesive does not hold up. Mine started coming off within a week of putting it on. If I could find an adhesive that would keep it on my phone, I would be completely satisfied. ... show more

I like these so much. They're sturdy and work as expected. I buy these for every new iPhone I buy. So far I think I've bought like 8 of these. My wife and kids also love these little kickstands. What I also like about these is it keeps iPhones from wobbling when set down flat. Also, the extra bulk at the bottom of the iPhone gives me a better grip when holding my iPhone. ... show more
