This stand works with my phone set and with every electronic tablet that I have, including a 12.4-inch device in portrait position (shown in pictures). Pressing aggressively at the top of the screen of a large tablet would probably be ill-advised, but doing so would not be a great idea even when not using a stand. Although it is lightweight, some customers talked about how the iPad stand would collapse when it was picked up. I solved that problem by attaching Velcro to both the tab and the slot areas of the stand.
