This is a great iPad stand and holder. I have tried so many and this one is by far my favorite and the best yet. It isn't a big stand by any means and yet it is mighty in performance. I really like how easy it is to adjust at any angle easily without having to screw any knobs but instead it stays at any angle securely just by tilting it up or down. It also has a very nice bottom that actually sticks to the table surface and doesn't move. The quality is excellent and the price is worth every penny. This mighty little stand is good for any size tablet and yes even the iPad pro size. I am currently typing easily while tipping it upward at a really nice angle and I love that it can charge the pad easily in the stand. I plan to use my blu tooth keyboard with my pad and it will sit nicely under the iPad when not in use for a very nice and neat look. This also will be great to use when watching videos or when using the iPad as my cookbook. It was very well thought out and I am glad that Amazon carried it. I love Amazon for having so many choices and making it easy to find just what I'm looking for. I initially got this because my plastic iPad case that holds my iPad upright actually melted in the sun! How annoying. I needed something to hold my iPad while reading. My neck was also bothering me I was hoping this one might adjust so that my neck isn’t always pointing down. It is perfect! Does exactly that. Just goes to show you that looks can be deceiving. When this stand arrived, it looked positively tiny; we thought at first that they had sent the wrong one. And, although it *is* smaller than it looked in the description, it works great. It's very sturdy and stable, whether using an IPad vertically or horizontally. The small size is actually a good thing, since it doesn't take up much room when using it on a desk, etc. The price is good too, and we liked it so much we just ordered another one. ... show more

The simple design looks so nice on my desk. It’s light weight and portable but very sturdy. I was a bit concerned with having the 14 inch iPad that it wouldn’t be big enough or sturdy enough for it but I was happily proven wrong

I use this stand to hold an iPad Pro 12.9”, in an Apple Smart Keyboard folio (folded around the back, book style), while I’m at my desk typing with an Apple Magic Keyboard. That way, when I’m at my desk, I have the superior keyboard right below the iPad in this stand, and when I have to run to a meeting, I can just pick-up the iPad from the stand and have the attached Smart Keyboard cover. This stand is nearly perfect, and I mean that. First, it’s incredibly stable. The adhesive is rock-solid when attached to a smooth desktop, and the hinge is nicely stiff. I can poke hard at the iPad Pro, and it’s not going anywhere. The iPad isn’t quite as stable when it’s in portrait mode as it is in landscape, but it’s still perfectly serviceable. The hinge that allows you to control a nearly infinite (usable) viewing angle is nicely stiff and shows no signs of slipping, even when holding the 12.9” Pro in its keyboard case—fantastic. I have literally only one reservation about the stand, and that is related to the adhesive under the pedestal. It’s a thick sheet of what feels like a “sticky” adhesive; it’s not a micro-suction pad. Therefore, once you put it down, I’m not sure what it’s going to be like when it’s removed and/or if it could be relocated to another area and have any “stick” left. You need to be REALLY sure where you’re putting it when you peel off the protective layer over the adhesive base. (You CAN use the stand without peeling off the adhesive, but if it’s on a smooth surface, even the slightest touch on the iPad will push the stand along with it.) If you’re looking for a product like this, however, I highly, highly recommend it. EDITED TO ADD: I’ve had this stand about six months now. I’m never satisfied with my iPad in a desktop form, so I keep going back and forth to different setups. I come back to this stand a LOT. The extra height it gives an iPad off the desk is great, and the swivel is still as firm/smooth as the day I bought it. ALSO, I’ve taken it on and off of my desk probably 100 times (being careful to put back on the plastic sheet that it came with to cover the sticky part when I put it away), and it seems to stick just as well the 100th time as it did the first time, so my fears about that have been answered. I’m moving my review from four to five stars because it’s just that good. ... show more

Unlike the same company’s iPhone holder, there is a bridge connecting the brackets “cupped hands” which hold the iPad upright. If held longside up with the charging receptacle down you cannot easily plug in the charging cable. The bridge between the “cupped hands” requires lifting the IPad or fussing to match/find exactly where to plug in the cable lead. I was surprised to encounter this, especially after experiencing the joy and ease of this function with my iPhone holder. I initially thought about sawing this bridge off, but that would have really defaced a nice piece of equipment. So my resolution: set my iPad on the stand longwise/horizontal which puts the charging opening on the side for care free connecting the charging cable. In one sense this is a minor issue. On the other hand it is kind of a long-term background irritant. Bottom line, I think this is a well constructed product. ... show more

I use this with an iPad Pro 11. With Amazon, you never know if you’ll get a product that was previously returned. I did get a new product and it seems sturdy. The adjustment is tight, which is what I wanted. Time will tell if it holds up. I don’t abuse my stuff so hopefully it’ll last. The stand is a top heavy (when iPad is almost horizontal) and will tip backwards if you bump the bottom of the iPad or stand.
