I got this to clean my sectional couch that is over 15years old. Very easy to use. The water heated up quickly in order to use the steam feature. The steam does not dispense immediately. (I believe it took about 5-15 secs for it to dispense steam when I was using the wash and steam mode). The item is well made and is easy to move around. TAB Carpet Cleaner Machine, 18KPa Portable Upholstery Spot Cleaner When I went through the manual for this spot cleaner, I noticed it has some missing information and others bits that were just confusing. When I was looking at the different parts while setting it up, I noticed it had a couple of filters which weren’t mentioned at all. The second confusing bit was the information about what types of cleaners can/can’t be used. First off you can’t use hot water, only warm. Okay, simple enough. You can use “professional, residue-free cleaning solution”. Some suggestions or recommendations would’ve been nice. You can’t use “spray chemicals, colorants, lubricants or other non-recommended substances”. Does this mean I can't use pre-treaters? What are the recommended “substances”? I haven’t seen one yet. You can use “low-foaming detergent”. Ok, now you’re just toying with me. These random bits are scattered throughout the manual, when I would read another piece of information about the types of cleaners I’d have to go back a page or two to find the previous bit and try to put the pieces together to figure out what I could/couldn’t use. Honestly!? I decided to look at the item page and I found this: “Please avoid using non-neutral cleaning agents” Okay, the wording is just weird, or am I over thinking this? It should just say use neutral cleaning agents. To sum all this up I need a neutral cleaning agent, which is low foaming and residue-free. Uhh, hmm? I gave up and looked at my assortment of available carpet cleaners. I realized most were meant for dry vacuuming and one was specifically for use with my upright shampooer. I went online and found a few formulated for use with portable cleaners (we’re getting somewhere, now) then I tightened my search for ones that are safe to use around pets. Presto! Thankfully the instructions on assembly and using the spot cleaner were straight forward or I would’ve chucked this thing out the door. If the information about the cleaning solutions was clearer this thing would've gotten 5 stars. I shouldn't have to consult my highschool chemistry notes to determine what cleaning agents are safe to use. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My wife and I wanted something like this to clean the cars. Light compact no bells or whistles. We tested it out on our couch. Worked just fine we did notice atnonenpoimt we couldnt spray anymore water even though the reservoir was full. I just picked up the tank off the unit some air bubbles came out then worked fine. It cleaned the couch great but this is a unit for small things forsure. The heads they have all do diffrent things but the small clear one worked the best for the suction to work well. So far it's nice and was on sale no complaints ... show more
