  • Excellent value
Color: Green Size: 1:16 Scale
This car is a lot of fun. True 4 wheel drive makes it tough enough to go over obstacles my 3 year old encounters. Battery life is ok at best but it comes with backup so I charge both and swap them out for double session and he gets about 25 minutes with the pair. He’s over it by then anyway. It isn’t very nimble so it needs a bit more room to run but we set up straight line obstacle course if we are trapped in small space and it’s still fun. Good intro to real r/c from the air hog he had first. At under $30 this thing is a steal. Hope it holds up all winter so we can see how it performs outside. ... show more

  • Easy to use, User-friendly, and Works Right out of the box
Color: Blue Size: 1:16 Scale
The ease of use of this rc car was quite impressive. From the moment I opened the box, it was clear that the designers prioritized a user-friendly experience. Setup was easy – just charge the included battery, install it underneath, and I was ready to roll. There is no need to sync the remote to the vehicle and it works out of the box. The controls are intuitive, making it accessible even for beginners who are new to the world of RC cars. Durability is a factor that I greatly appreciated in this car. It's clear that it's built to withstand some serious action. I've taken it through rough terrains, jumps, and even accidental collisions, and it has come out unscathed. The quality of the materials and construction gives me confidence that this car can handle whatever challenges I throw its way. A small detail that stood out to me is the additional battery that comes with the car. An extra battery is a great addition from the manufacturer that they could have decided altogether to not send at all to cut back on cost. It is those small details about customer satisfaction that really comes a long way. The car offers quite a respectable runtime on a single charge, ensuring that you get the most out of every session. The included charger is easy as the end it plugs into is a common USB-A connector, making it easy to plug into any wall AC adapter you may already have at home. ... show more

  • Great Truck, but battery charger melted
Color: Blue Size: 1:16 Scale
Lots of fun, comparable to more expensive RC models. Beware: battery charger melted and did not charge the battery pack. I was going to buy extra battery packs, anyway and the ones I got came with chargers. Cost more than the car, but worth the extra fun the kid has!

  • 4x4 little rock crawler
Color: Blue Size: 1:16 Scale
Bought this for my son and he loves it. I will say this one is true 4x4 so it is slower than the one my other sone has that is rear wheel drive. However this one's ability to climb over stuff is legit and a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it if that is what you like. If you want a really fast car, go with a different option. ... show more

  • Battery lasts for only <20min
Color: Blue Size: 1:16 Scale
The rock crawler actually crawls over stuff, pretty cool, but battery last less than 20min. So you have 2 batteries, but each time you want to change the battery pack, you need a screw driver SMH. The connector is too big for the enclosure to fit alongside the battery pack. Find a better one if you are looking for one. ... show more

  • Quality car, good overall performance, good customer service
Color: Green Size: 1:16 Scale
Ordered my first of this car back in 2019 to drive in the yard, and let it Corgi cheese it. The first arrived not working, but was quickly, and easily replaced by the seller. He loved it and would chase it, nip the tires which never got damaged, and roll it over with his snout. I've used it like a crawler on the front porch stairs, jumped off little ramps/curbs with no breakage, and the extra battery is nice for extended use. The controls are simple to use, and it's not complicated for kids. I bought this as a second car to gift to a friend's 5 year old for Christmas so they could race together. I got a few videos or was a hit with him. For the price, and my experience with an easy return if needed, it's simple use, and quality, I'd definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Don't buy this car.
Color: Green Size: 1:16 Scale
Let's start with the good on this car. The idea is cool. A long travel suspension UTV-type RC car. Who wouldn't want that? It is fun to drive around and, just like a side-by-side, this thing will go places where other RC cars can't. And for that, it's pretty cool. What could be improved... When encountering an obstacle the car will often spin its tires and bounce. This could be remedied by a variable speed motor, rather than just the on/off motors it has now. Also, this car is capable of twisting up the suspension pretty well. But it oftentimes does the three-wheel trick. This could remedied by a little more weight in the car or lighter suspension. Next, the place where you plug in the batteries had a really short bit of wire on it. I ended up taking the car apart. There is only a knot in the wiring that holds it in place. I was able to move the knot down the wire a bit and gave me a bit more room to plug in the main battery. Battery life is as you would expect from a 4.8V/700 mAh battery. You get about 10 minutes of decent run time and about 5 more minutes of struggling with dying batteries before they are dead. I think the listing says 20 minutes and that might be at the perfect temp, running on flat, smooth ground, but even then I think it might be a stretch. This could be remedied by a better-quality LiOn battery. But then it would cost you a bit more. None of this warrants a one-star review. So let's move on to the truly bad about this car. Right out of the box, it wouldn't run. I charged up the batteries and checked the instructions which do not match the car at all. It says to set the radio freq on both the car and the controller. But no such adjustment is possible. So I put in the batteries and nothing. After an evening of messing with it, I gave up. The next morning I started again. Still nothing. So, I figured, this is a pretty simple machine and at this price, I don't have much to lose. So I tore it apart. And what I found was bad, cold solder joints everywhere. One of the power wires wasn't even soldered to the board. (Picture included). So after a half day of soldering, and double-checking all the connections, I finally have it running. Long story short. I am a bit of a hobbyist and don't mind breaking out the soldering iron to get things going. But if you are buying this for a child, they are going to want to play with it right out of the box and get going. You might get lucky and get one that is better made. I am just relaying what I found under the hood of this car. This would be a great car if you could figure out how to change the board and make the motors variable speed controlled, add a better battery, and maybe add a little weight to make the suspension work better. All in all, I feel that there are better cars out there for nearly the same money. Or at least close enough in price to justify spending a little more and skip the DIY project. ... show more
