I LOVE this light strip. I have tried so many others and this is the only one that hasn't frustrated me to the point of throwing it away. When I turn it on, it doesn't time out nor does it switch back to white lights. I have had others that do both those things. Purchased 2 sets of the Mosaic lights as I had purchased many sets in the past and they have worked flawlessly. The new version has 5 pins instead of 4 like the old ones and the remote would not pair with the control box. Old design always worked as it was straight forward infra red from remote to the controller, even generic cheapo remotes and connectors would work without issue. I tried the re-pairing process multiple times and even tried the remote and controller from my second set. Nothing would work. The spacing on the pins is bread board compatible. There are 5 mins, i have tested in series and parallel and both work with the standard length and controller. I kind of bought these just to play around with, but now I have something I want to do and was pleased to see that the spacing was compatible with a bread board, so I don't nave to do much soldering to get it to work. ... show more
