This is a pretty cute double feeder. I can see where, over time, the threads on the back might weaken but I’m not sure why you would need to remove/replace it that often. I guess I mean-it won’t weaken if you don’t mess with it. This is really cute! I’m not sure it should be the main source for hay because it’s difficult for my piggies to get to the hay (they end up climbing up to the top and diving in, which isn’t ideal) but the lower food section is good and maybe the “hay” part will be better for something else. I like that the food and hay can be kept together in one container. It secures easily to the side of the cage. The hay can be hard to reach if it's not overflowing, but I think it will be easier for the guinea pigs to reach as they get older.
