I bought 2 of these cage fans for my 1100sq ft house with open floor plan and 12 ft peak/sloped ceiling . I was tired of the blade fans wanted something different and I wanted to change the chandelier for a ceiling fan. these were the perfect fit. I like the design of the cage and the flat black color. Even though i have tall ceilings i can feel the air from the fan while sitting on the couch. When I unboxed the fans one was missing a cover plate from the bottom of the fan , this did not effect function so I put them up and contacted the company that made the fans . They responded in under 24 hrs and shipped a new cover that arrived in under 2 wks . ... show more

We had this fan installed by someone. He didn’t seem to have a problem installing it. It’s beautiful! Fan gives off good air flow. Very quiet. It has five bulb, we didn’t want such bright light so we bought 25 watts chandelier lights. It’s perfect. Lights cannot work with a dimmer so you need to buy the wattage you think you need. It is suggested by the manufacturer not to use a dimmer. ... show more

This product is beautifully and solidly built. Easy to install and truly stunning. BUT it's BIG! 21" across but 16" from ceiling to edge with the small down rod. It engulfs my kitchen. I will be returning it because my husband comes close to hitting his head and it's disorienting. If my kitchen was bigger, or if i had a need in the dining room this would be perfect. ... show more
