  • Great fire pit for pellets
Size: L(20inch) Color: Black
*Edit* I figured out how to keep the fire going. Once it starts to die down - but before the flame is extinguished - add a layer of pellets, then hit the fire with some lighter fluid. The flame will ratchet back up with minimal smoke. ** First would like to note that I’ve only used this with wood stove pellets, not logs, so I can’t comment on how it burns wood. With pellets it is smokeless as described. It’s very easy to light with either lighter fluid or tiki torch fuel. You can also get a gel lighter fuel which works well also. It puts out a ton of heat, so much so that I usually have to move my chair back. The only downside to this pit is that it lasts about an hour before the pellets are burned up, and there is no effective way to keep it burning. I’ve tried adding pellets both while the flame is going well and after it dies down, but it tends to smoke and while the pellets burn it doesn’t last for long. Having said that this is a great pit, super easy to light, and easy to clean as the pellets don’t leave much ash. Depending on where you are you should be able to get decent pellets as tractor supply or your favorite big box home store. Lots of local options as well if you live in the NE, and prices are better if you buy bags by the ton (50 bags). ... show more

  • Literally Perfect...I've bought five.
This little fire pit is really amazing. Great for camping if that's what you're wanting it for, but I use it to roast s'more's with my kids outside. It takes less than a minute to assemble and put away and is super compact while being a good size. I've bought five and given away three as gifts. (Birthdays, weddings, etc.) The recipients loved them as well! I'm also keeping one in my car for emergencies. (plus, its the perfect size to put in the car without being too small.) The fire pit puts out a lot of heat, (which was surprising for such a little one) yet, is not too hot to put on a metal outdoor table. In short, it works great; easy to use, easy to put away; perfect size, not being too bulky or too small. If the picture is what you are wanting, this fire pit is exactly what you are looking for. ... show more

  • Heavy duty, hard to get going
Bought this to burn limbs that fall in the back yard. And to burn brush. I have a Breeo as my primary fire pit, but too heavy to move around. Got this because Solo Stoves are ultra portable but very fragile. Kind of a mid point. The pit itself is two pieces, with the fire bowl having handles. I’ve moved it full blaze with gloves on. Sits on a pan that catches the ashes and stores inside the bowl. Comes with a bag. I bought this because I need to burn limbs that fall on my 2 acres and wanted something I wouldn’t worry about rusting through but was portable. Price was a factor since it is something I’ll leave in the elements. Pros: thick metal. Happy here. It will not fall apart. It’s almost as thick as the breeo. Mine is the “rust” which is actually just paint. Don’t care for my use case, and it will be interesting how well it holds up. Also the handles make it easy to carry. Size is good. Solos are tiny at a comparable price (and it’s all margin, not material). Cons: takes a while to get going. Not nearly as efficient as a solo or breeo. It’s just not as efficient. So if you want to have a fire with your friends you need to start it at least an hour before they come. It’s smoke smoke smoke until it gets going. The breeo and solo just take off much faster. It’s my only performance complaint. Once it gets going it’s just as good. Just need a bed of coals and it roars. Overall: I bought this as something to move around that is semi portable but won’t get beat up. Happy so far. If you want ultraportable, go Solo. If you want crazy sturdy and beautiful, go breeo. And I think that’s where this fire pit has its drawbacks. The solo is so thin it gets going crazy fast. The breeo has these unique channels that help it heat even with the thick metal. This pit is designed like a solo but has thick metal. Just slow. I’m happy with it. Just want everyone aware of the trade offs. Smokeless pits are not the same. Construction and design are real factors in performance. ... show more

  • Great value, heavy duty and works great
Size: L(20inch) Color: Rust
We’ve been coveting a friends smokeless fire pit, one of the stainless steel ones. In looking for a good deal we found this which matches our outdoor decor better, and a great price. We’ve used it a few times and really enjoyed it. Love the carrying case/cover.

  • Doing the Job!
Size: L(20inch) Color: Black
we have used our Stboo a few times now since we bought it month ago and it works great! just the right size for our needs and not difficult to move it back into storage after fire out and cleaned out. We use both pellets and small pieces of wood, braches and it all burns easily, definitely "smokes-less" . Note : only use either directly on ground or thick natural stone/or Rock. ..dont use on a deck unless you are sure it has air circulation or burn proof surface below the STBOO! ... show more

  • She’s a wicked rusty girl.
Size: L(20inch) Color: Black
The pros, she burns much better compared to most lower end fire pits. Not truly “smokeless”, but none of them really are. That being said, the smoke gets cut down a significant amount to make it worth getting one. The cons, she won’t win any beauty contests after a few uses. 2nd time using it and paint peeling off inside already, by day 5 there is already rust. But what should people expect for a cheap fire pit, it’ll happen to just about any of them that are under a few hundred dollars. What do to bub? Suck it up buttercup and hit it with some high heat spray paint and she’ll be wicked perty after that. All in all, this is probably one of the better fire pits I’ve had for under $150 but don’t pay low prices and expect something perfect. ... show more

  • Works great
Very pleased. Put a good amount of pellets in and used a small propane torch to light. Put out a nice flame and pretty much smokeless. When I was done I used a small metal rod and just stirred a bit and the fire was out. Left remaining pellets in and put it in its case. Ready to use again.
