I purchased this for my porch and was highly impressed. It wasn’t hard to assemble and is very easy to use. The blue rocks really make it pretty even when it’s not burning. I love that it has a lid so that when we aren’t using it nothing can get into. It has two flame settings of low and high. Even on colder nights I only use the low setting and it puts out heat. The media could not be loaded. This fire pit has so far proven to be absolutely perfect for our needs, and one of the best options I’ve found in this price range/BTU output. Below are my insights after the 1st couple weeks using this pit: Pros: - Quick & Easy Assembly Process: The instruction manual was very clear and easy to read with perfect English! (This may seem like a mundane or silly thing to note, but this is NOT always the case! I do appreciate it when companies put legit effort into making a solid/legible manual!) - Hidden Propane Cylinder Storage: Makes the overall look very clean but still provides easy access to the cylinder via a swinging magnetic-closing door. - Solid ALL-metal build - Size/Height: This fire pit is just about the perfect height for resting your drink or a plate of food during a BBQ. When not in use it is also a great size for cards, dominoes, and board games! Cons: - Heat Output: This isn’t truly a con, but more so just an FYI: This pit puts out some SERIOUS heat! If you place anything metal too close to the fire it will get REALLY hot. Be careful to avoid that whenever possible unless u want hand-s’mores! - Heat Levels: This pit certainly hits very-high heat levels, however, I do wish there were more fine-tuning options on the lower end. Even on the lowest setting it is still quite hot and can easily be felt from 5-6ft away. - Propane Door: Although the magnetic door does its job quite well, I do wish it did it a little quieter. If the manufacturer added a simple soft-close mechanism or maybe rubberized the magnets to deaden the impact a bit that would be perfect! Overall if your looking for a no-fuss way to spruce up your porch or backyard this is a solid choice. I was able to go from a box of parts to fire in about 45mins! Once it’s put together all you have to do is hookup a propane cylinder, turn on the gas, flip the switch, and you have a nice warm fire! We are very happy with this purchase and we may end up getting a 2nd for our front yard! ... show more

Love love love this! What a fantastic buy! I bought this for my sister as a Christmas present. It took awhile to put together but once we were done it has worked beyond what we anticipated. Now going on the second year, it is still going strong. The igniter works great. We also bought the glass for the wind, and a cover. Such a beautiful addition to the deck. Very sturdy! ... show more

This table looks great on the deck and when we have people over in the evenings, it's a nice touch. I bought it because I thought it would be easier to deal with than the small portable fire-pit we were using. And it is. It just doesn't give off a lot of heat the way the wood fire did. On a cold night, you have to be standing right next to it, really, to get warmed by it. Even sitting next to it doesn't do much because the fire is up at table height and most of the heat seems to go straight up. In one of the product pictures, there's a glass of wine on the table next to the fire. I wouldn't recommend doing that because, unless the fire is at its lowest setting the flames dance around all the way out to the edges of the table when the wind blows. So you can't really put anything on the table edges while it's lit. It was relatively easy to assemble. I consider myself fairly adept at such things but I still felt puzzled a few times trying to read the directions. Quite a few small screws, also. The side panels and door are somewhat flimsy and my door seems ever-so-slightly warped. But those pieces are not that important to the overall sturdiness and it the table top, which is what I come into contact with most, is quite sturdy. All that said, it's not a bad addition to the deck. But in these times when we are socially-distanced with our guests, we're not really gathering around this as centerpiece. And even if we were, it wouldn't be a great heat source in the chilly Chicago autumn. So we bought a few tank-mount Mr Heaters to put at each of the three tables on our deck.
