Purchased to replace a clay chiminea i had for years. searched multiple products and finally decided on this one. Hight was just about right, almost 4 feet tall. Top part is cast metal and sturdy, but the bottom is only stamped metal. not sure how long that will last out in the weather. Was pretty easy to assemble by myself. 10MM wrench and screwdriver. Color is more brownish than black but looks nice. Good size inside for wood. Door slides open or can be removed. All in all i really like this. Burnt a fake log and it was beautiful. ? how long will it last outside in New England winters ? I don't see anything out there around this price that i think would do any better. Firstly, if you buy it then invest in the cover and use it! Very easy to assembly and well made. I spent a little more on this fire pit than the one I bought at Lowe’s a year ago, which has now made it’s way to the trash. This Bali fire pit puts out great heat, fun to sit around and everyone gets a view! Great value Great Product. It looks awesome on your patio as well. My one and only complaint would be the grate is a bit cheap. I am replacing it with a cast iron grate soon. ... show more

It is good value for the money and works well. One thing I would ask is that the manufacturer stop using the same letters, i.e., AAAA, for all screws in the hardware kit. Some screws are tapered flat head, and the others are pan-head. There are more letters in the alphabet. I used the wrong screws on some connections, then later found my error when squinting at the instructions. Truly a minor annoyance, but there is room for improvement. ... show more

Well made! Great item for the price point. We bought ours to add bug control smoke to an orchard of 18 trees. It recommends a party of 2 for assembly......this is critical. I'm a 64 year old grandma in good health but I ended up dropping the cast iron top on my foot. I love the look. We are drilling holes in the wood storage bottom plate to twist in anchors into the ground and prevent wind issues. ... show more

This is my second purchase of this very functional and attractive outdoor fireplace.It has served me well to use for quick and easy gatherings with friends and family.One of the reasons it is enjoyable is the all around view of the fire and easy access to adding firewood as needed. Best suited to smaller logs and yard sticks, pinecones etc so the fire stays pleasant and easy to control. I have it situated within a gravel 13 foot circle so no worries on burning sparks or the occasional embers that might roll out.I touch it up each season with high temp spray paint for stoves and keep it covered with the available fitted cover when not in use. Also use in the summer with large citronella candles just for the effect. Highly recommend ! ... show more

Sturdy, perfect size, functionality, easy to clean, tray that holds the ash is small and doesn't hold a lot of ash, should clean it out after each use. Purchased Aug 2024 so far love it! Recommend a cover when not in use, to keep it dry inside from rain. Recommend and a fire map under it, especially if using on a wooden deck. ... show more
