This fire pit was fairly easy to put together. It did have some smell to it on the first fire which seemed like the paint burning off the surface of the new metal. I liked that it came with a cover, very handy, hopefully it will keep it protected. The metal is fairly on the thinner side but we will see how it holds up over time. It was a lot sturdier than expected. Provides lots of warmth it’s the fires is going. Nice size not too big or small and you can easily move around. I cooked some real good charred steaks right ok the flames. Cover is flimsy might want your own tarp eventually.

    • A little challenging to assemble, but well built and attractive!
This was a little challenging to assemble. The instructions are good, but be sure not to tighten the screws fully until you have completed assembly. The side walls, the ones that look like ladders, snap down in place after you have completed assembly and have flipped it over. For someone with arthritis (me), that was tough. I didn't have a rubber mallet, but wrapped a towel around a hammer and successfully got it in place. That said, it is well built and attractive. Great value. ... show more

    • OMG GET IT! It’s Perfect!
My husband put this wonderful fire pit together in less than 15 minutes. He wasn’t grouchy afterward, so I knew it was easy and without any problems. I love the fact that this Seller had the complete package- with food grill and cover. We made hot dogs on it the first time we used it (right after putting it together). They were delicious! The fire pit is the perfect size to comfortably seat 4 people around. It’s also very beautiful with the fire burning. We are very pleased with this product, have zero problems so far, and recommend it to those looking for a simple, affordable, and attractive fire pit! ... show more

Okay. So after reading hundreds of reviews I took a chance on this fire pit. For the price...I am super happy. Let's break it down... First off. When I unpacked it everything was nice and pckaged well, it got here quicker than expected. But I already began stressing when it bent a little as I was unpacking it🤦 no problem tho I bent it right back and was easier with it past that point. The directions suuuuck...it took me (with no help) about 40 mins to put together...DO NOT tighten all ur screws until everything lines up!!! Some screws won't tighten due to the alignment but Ill deal. The gaps are real around the edges but honestly I barely even notice now. Sooooo as I'm burning....first off the smell...look everything is coated in something...I will warn there is a super strong chemical smell and a lot of smoke rolling out but once it had the initial burn it's gone now. After reading comments about the top burning and warping I took a chance and put as much as I could to keep the fire high... because if the grate is guna burn I want it to do it now lol. Metal warped a taaaad bit but overall no damage to the top grate from a roaring fire but it gets hot (remember!) I had an over mitt out with me when adding logs It is awfully shallow but I have a very small backyard so I don't need a bonfire kicking. Overall I am super happy. It works for me and my family and I hope it works for urs. (Also the cover is a little cheap (I don't mind) but the tightening mechanism doesn't work. So I tied it. 😁😁😁 ... show more

It's just OK. The price was what I could afford at the time. I've had it assembled and in my yard for about 1.5 months now. Already starting to rust and it's not been used, nor have we had any rain. It's basically summer in California right now, so the temps are pretty dry and steady. So it should not be rusting. It's very flimsy. When I was checking this unit out online, it seemed more sturdy by It's description and its reviews. I thought that the shelf going around it would be able to hold a little weight, like say a foot stool. But after assembling it, I wouldn't put more then a few coffee cups on it. The bottom side panels do not line up well and pop off easily especially when moved. I would not move this around to much. I give it a few years tops. I should have waiting and spent a little more money for a more hefty unit. ... show more

I was looking for a fire pit to use when the weather gets cooler but I didn’t want to break the bank. This fire pit fit the bill. It arrived a day earlier than expected and took about 30 min to put together. It wasn’t complicated at all. I haven’t used it yet as our temperatures here are still on the warmer side. But I’m ready! This fire pit also can double as a grill but I’ll not be using it in that way since I already have a grill. Still it’s cool that you can use it like that. Some people’s reviews have said that it rusts pretty quickly, even if using the cover that came with it. If that is the case I’ll be fine with that. If I get one season’s use and have to pitch it, no big deal. For less than $100 for a fire pit (and grill), I wasn’t expecting it to last more than 2 years anyway. I purchased this for the sole purpose of having protection around my solo bonfire - and to also have a place to rest our feet and set our food/drinks. Size wise, it’s perfect. The bonfire is around 20” I believe, and it provides just enough clearance so that the metal won’t be touching and get too hot. The material itself is pretty flimsy. I don’t have high expectations for how long it will last or how well it will rust. But for the purposes I need it for, I’m pretty pleased! ... show more
