remote start works perfect , easy install and only issue I had was my lap top timed out on download software , called tech support after I had tried a few times , they were very helpful , even stayed on the phone while I started the vehicle for a few off/on cycles to make sure was working correctly .I have had this installed now for a few months works flawlessly , the distance range is great as well . works like a factory unit . Did not get this option from the dealership and I regret it. This kit was super easy to install and the instructions are on point. Got it done in about 20 mins. Follow the provided instructions.

This was maybe a 20 minute install. I watched a youtube video beforehand, then just followed teh instructions. Installation was easy, programming the module was easy and it works great. Range is ok as well. I can start from inside my house before going out.

My Jeep Gladiator is 5 days old. It's a 2023 Gladiator Mojave 8 speed. I bought it knowing I'd add remote start. Dealer wanted to sell me two remote start key fobs and program the Jeep for remote start. I think it was $800 or so. I passed and bought this. It doesn't affect anything factory, and can be removed if needed for warranty work. Just follow the 2 step programing. 1st step is when you have it in the vehicle. 2nd step is using a PC or laptop with a USB dongle Start-X provides. I did this all in 35 minutes. Start to finish. I was on my lunch break while working from home. I've installed alarms to clutches. This was a piece of cake. Easier than wiring Aux lights. I highly recommend. You can fine tune the module to extend run time. Or follow the included instructions on the back of the programming to extend runtime with the remote. Best thing, this does not produce and RFID to make the vehicle run. Remember to use a faraday bag for your fobs. I've seen reported too many Jeeps get stolen. ... show more
